Not my first amazon furniture. They're usually pretty decent quality, so I wasn't surprised that this was too. The wood is admittedly pressboard, but the plastic coating is thick, sealed on all edges, very sturdy, and gorgeous if you like that pattern. It's super lightweight, too, but also pretty sturdy. I'm sick as a dog and managed to put it together alone, flip it upright myself, and not have it collapse when my 265lb body decided to take a dizzy nap on top of it. I'm 5'3", and this is the most perfectly ideal height for a standing desk (let's be real... if I got an adjustable, I'd never stand, but I'm tired of being so unhealthy, so here we are!) I could absolutely use it in a kitchen or even outside, it's sturdy enough to take it. The three main leg pieces are very similar to each other, and I couldn't find the labels on two of them, so it took my sick brain almost a half hour of crying over them to figure out that the two most similar pieces don't actually have all the same holes, so even if the stickers aren't there, you literally cannot put this together wrong and still use it.Now, I did leave the third shelf off, but that's because this is my bedroom and I'm bugphobic, and my brain says they don't need that new nesting area I can't see xDBut honestly, this is basically my first review on Amazon furniture, and it's all because I am so stinking thrilled that it came with extra screws. Didn't need them! But I'm so thrilled to see them anyways xDThanks for a pretty table!

Bought this as a coffee table/station for my husband's office. It is such a great looking piece. It was easy to assemble (highly recommend using a drill with an allen wrench fitting - it will go much more quickly than hand wrenching all of the screws). It felt very sturdy once it was fully assembled and it is so pretty. It is the perfect coffee bar for his customers and we just love it!

Overall, the table seems pretty sturdy for the price point. It gets the job done.Some things to note:1.) The materials are very fragile. The wood on top can scratch easily and the paint on the metal is easily stripped off. You will inevitably strip paint off of areas that need screwed in.2.) The table can very easily be wobbly if you are not very careful during assembly. You have to align the bars in very specific ways and SLIGHTLY turn one screw on one side and then slightly turn the screw on the other side, rinse, and repeat. Do NOT fully tighten screws at once or it's likely to wobble.3.) The wood finishing feels very oily/greasy. I'm sure this grease will transfer to things when you touch the table and another object. I'm not sure if the finish is food safe or if it has any health consequences because the type of finish is not listed. I would wash my hands before eating anything and/or when done using the table. Possibly applying Shellac, epoxy, or even a fabric cover over top to counter that.4.) When opening the box, there is an overwhelmingly bad chemical smell. That is likely volatile organic compounds (VOC) off gassing from the product. And if that is the case, the product is likely to continue off gassing VOCs for several months, so if possible, I would have it in a well ventilated room.With all points mentioned above, you get what you pay for and at the end of the day, that's what this table is.

Everything was packaged well and arrived in good shape. The actual assembly went very well until I got to the shelves. The screws went in easily only so far, and then it was a struggle. I finally had to get a pair of pliers to finish getting the screws tightened.Other than that it is a nice piece of furniture. I am using it as a table for my laser cutter setup. It has enough room for my supplies and the desktop that I use for the software.Now that my fingers no longer hurt I am very happy with the purchase. If you plan to get this I would suggest you have pliers or what I was wishing I had an electric screw driver that works with this type of tool.

This product is ok. Stain job is blotchy and the wood quality fair at best. Item table damages in transport on 3Of 4 corners.

I was pleasently surprised! I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed a small but tall table to fit my chairs. I have a small space and not a lot of storage, so I thought the shelving would be efficient.It is heavy enough to be sturdy but not so heavy that it is difficult to move. It took me maybe 20 mintues to assemble myself. It had all of the parts, one did not fit so well but it was unessential.The top has some texture, it looks like real wood but I don't think it is. It seems very durable.I was afraid I might not be able to fit a table but here we are! It even adds more prep space. It is big enough for two people to dine on comfortably.I did have an issue with the shipping (not their fault) and they were quick to respond and accommodating.It is a great deal, I reccomend it!!

Well built- arrived damaged

Needed a taller kitchen table to work on food prep. Leaning over preparing food on the kitchen table becomes a issue as you get older, this was the perfect solution. No more back ache after getting dinner ready is such a blessing and it was so easy to assemble.
