Perfect in my hand
I love everything about this knife. It's sharp, a good length and the shape of the handle makes it very stable and easy to control. It's replacing a knife like it that I used for many years. We usually washed that one in the dishwasher and after a decade or so part of the handle broke off down to where the first metal "pin" goes through; even so, it's still serviceable. We'll try to hand wash this one as recommended and it will probably outlive me.

Very sharp, great utility
Makes a very quick'n'easy job out of slicing up the ripe small tomatoes we grow out on our deck for sandwiches. If we try to slice our smallish fruits with anything other than a good sharp knife, we only get about 4 uneven, squashed slices per tomato. They taste great but don't go very far. However, with this Zwilling/Henckels paring knife, I can cut 'em up into slices too thin to enjoy! :-) Just no comparing those super-sweet, home-grown fruits to the tasteless red things they sell in the grocery chain store across the street. The only other knife we have good enough to make each tomato go as far is our full-size Zwilling/JAH chef's knife, but it's a bit unwieldy for slicing up a really ripe tiny tomato compared to this 4" blade. It's just right. The handle isn't quite as nice on the small knife, but it won't ever be doing the kind of rough and tough work you can do with the full-sized knife and it's fine for every small job we've put it to work on so far. I haven't tried peeling a whole bag of potatoes with it or anything (yet), but it works great for everything else (and maybe that too). My wife and I love it!

Zwilling Twin Signature 4 Inch Chef's Knife
Bought my wife a set of Zwilling knives for Christmas a year or two ago and we really love them! Extremely sharp (wife keeps managing to cut herself using them!) knives that are very well made. Some how we managed to lose the 4 inch paring knife from the set so ordered this to replace it. Exact replacement for the set. A bit expensive but well worth the money if you need a great knife in the kitchen!

Good replacement
I accidentally spilled acetone on our original classic pairing knife, messing up the handle. So, I ordered this one as a replacement. While our original is over a decade old, the replacement handle is dull rather than shiny. The twin signature symbol is smaller and not as bright red. While my original is old, I’m not surprised that the new one looks different, I just hope it’s legit. Therefore it lost a star, but it is sharp like the original!

A GREAT knife
When you buy Zwilling you are buying quality and this knife is no exception. It is made in Germany and has a wonderful feel to it. I tested it out of the box on a piece of note paper and it cut it easily and very smoothly. What more could you ask? I have a set of Zwilling knives that I bought in 1980 at the Frankfurt airport and still use them today. I sharpen them with a Work Sharp sharpener and they still take and hold an edge like the day they were bought. Yes they were expensive but what have you ever purchased that cost almost nothing to maintain and has lasted for forty years? I expect that I will leave them to one of my kids when I'm gone and get over 100 years out of them. That together with the feel and knowledge of holding that level of quality in your hand makes it the smartest purchase I ever made.
