I've had a Leatherman Skeletool for many years and while it's good is lacking in certain functions and it was time for an upgrade and boy the Signal delivered. The pliers are the first major upgrade with a bigger size and proper wire cutters. The knife is very thick (3mm) and very sharp. The wood saw is again very good and works well with the ferro rod. The bit mount works with all the bits I had from the Skeletool and the hammer head also has a 1/4 inch bit mount that work's with standard bits and adaptors (including socket bits). And on top of that you've got a very functional firestarter.

Very very handy this tool is it’s surprising how much I have used this already definitely recommend

Overall it is purely excellent engineering.

I've had mine a month or so now and I do really like it. Everything works as you would expect. The sharpener seems to be very effective, the hammer is useful and usable, the main knife cuts well although it is a locking blade which I believe makes it illegal to carry in the UK.

It's a great tool, but I with it came with tools to adjust the screws on it, so you can loosen/tighten some elements. The blade and saw were stiff to open at first

It is a Leatherman, therefore you can not get any better quality multitools, the blade comes razor sharp, comes in minimalistic box, attention to detail is amazing. It is 100% metal apart from the *safety whistle*. I love it!(everyone keep in mind that it is illegal to carry in public in the UK)

Looking for a leatherman multi tool for awhile and when this came up a bought it you get what you pay for has what you need and will last you years
