Got this 8-footer to connect my Brother laser printer, which is several feet from where I wanted to plug it in. The cord seems like good quality, the insulation is robust yet flexible enough to make the necessary turns. The ends made a tight fit both in my printer and the wall outlet and the printer is happily printing away. Not much else you could ask for, and I'm confident that now that it's in place, it will give good service for a long, long time.If you buy this as a replacement power cord, make sure it's the same wire gauge or thicker than the original (remember, lower gauge number means thicker wire) and that it is rated to handle the same or higher amps required by whatever you are using it for, to prevent overheating and possible fire hazard and/or equipment damage.

Let me first say that I did not buy tjis power cord for purpose intended. I have a Fender Champion 20 guitar amplifier that I like for recording and practice purposes. Some time ago, the power cord vanished. Since I wanted a longer cord anyway, I ordered one of these. I've been playing over the amp for almost an hour, and checking the cord to make sure it isn't overheating. It's working perfectly.

Great, as long as you pay attention to the amperage limit. Great for low power digital equipment, but don't use it on your toaster or phased plasma generator.
