Rosewood scales are beautiful with some help.
For eight dollars this is a great buy if you are a little bit handy. First the wood sides, scales need to be rounded. I did this by scraping with a snap knife edge extra fine sandpaper. I applied a brown furniture wax several times and it looks beautiful and feel comfortable to holdNext the locking mechanism needed adjustment. The place where the spring clip locks needed minor filing, don't over do it or it will be too loose. Just a stroke or two does the trick. Use a magic marker to coat the part that contacts the back of the blade.I wanted a nice letter opener for a very low price. I love how it feels and looks . Remember this is an eight dollar knife. With a small amount of work it is now a fifty dollar looking knife. If this is too hard its ok, just purchase the fifty dollar one.

Good
Slim, sharp, and inexpensive. Fine for opening boxes. Looks pretty good.

This Chef Approves!
The media could not be loaded. So… putting things in perspective, it’s a knife that cost less than $10. We will assume that it is not gonna be the strongest knife in the world and non-ate every day use knife if you are say a construction guy. If you’re looking for and every day carry knife the is sleek, sharp and opens lightning fast. Looks good. A lot of people described it as Sharp out of the box. Mine was much sharper after a few swipes on a steel. Pretty much razor sharp… but I haven’t used it yet to see how that lasts. I’m a pro chef so sharpening knives is part of the deal. A lot of people complain about the fitment. Let’s face it. It’s not a knife costing hundreds of dollars or even tens of dollars wit top grade steel. Let’s be real. It’s light, I like the feel. I might wet sand it a bit but it seems tight. Time will tell. It wouldn’t be the knife. I would choose if I were chopping my way through the Amazon, but navigating the streets of South Florida . I think it will be just fine. I plan on purchasing a couple more to leave around here and there. My cheapest other knifes are $45 and up, if it doesn’t fall apart within the first year and can hold this edge fairly well… I’m a happy camper.

The grind is crap
It has corners on the edge of the handle almost as sharp as the blade. The grind is off, but for an $8 knife I'm OK with it. I'll smooth out the handle and edge. All in all not bad. Pretty sharp edge out the package and the tip is like a needle (sharp as hell) Light weight, pops right open with a flick of the finger. Quality control could be a little better though. Still, it's just a simple small pocket knife and it will do what I ask it to I'm sure.

Liner lock doesn't work
I was sorely disappointed when this knife arrived. The finish on the handle wasn't great and the edges of the handle were kind of rough. But I expected that with a sub 10 dollar knife. That's not why I gave it 1 star. The liner lock doesn't work. The lock itself, or the curved bottom of the blade, is slightly too long. So the liner lock just pushes against the side rather than sliding underneath the lock it open. It'll be usable for really light work, basically a letter opener, but I wouldn't trust the blade to knock swing closed on anything sturdier and cut you. It wasn't expensive enough for the effort to actually take it to a whole foods or something to return it, so I guess I'm just eating the price of it

It will keel.
Good little poker. Lightweight but sturdy. Took and kept an edge well. They holder it came in looks stupid and was discarded. Looks like purse leather. The knife is grest at its price though

Terrible quality. Do not recommend.
I bought the drop point version with red wood grips. So many things wrong with this knife. The good:-The blade is sharp.-The length and profile were nice. The bad:-Horrible pivot. Tons of drag, but blade still has tons of side to side play.-Liner lock too long so it will only engage if you torque the blade back hard. It will NOT engage while using normal opening means, even if done forcefully.-Blade centering? Non-existent. Actually rubbing on the lock bar.-Profiling of the handle and liner/frame was next to not even thought about. The liner is actually sharp on the back side. This knife was a massive disappointment. I have a very similar design from another maker and thought this would be similar, but this is hot garbage.

Decent knife at great price!
Knife was delivered on the day promised this is my second one I bought like another reviewer said you get a knife blank for 10 bucks with a little work you can transform it into a much more expensive knife I always soften the edges on the handles then hand polish then then the blade and the liner everyone that sees the finished product always thinks I paid a lot more for it. I also like the no belt clip and sheath instead narrow or smaller knives just shouldn't have them there was a time when folding knives didn't have them and we all lived just fine! ;) I'm gonna. Buy a few more to have on hand I have heavier more expensive knives but I find myself grabbing this one every morning so I think I'll stock up I lose things alot but yeah but one or a couple you'll be pleased.
