Better value than the little jar. I use this stuff on nearly everything. Plenty of flavor and a bit of heat.

It’s like a spicy paprika. Love it and it comes vacuum packed in good shape.

Because I'm new to Piment d'Espelette, I had no expectations as to how it ought to taste. For me, this is a miracle spice! I've used it in recipes that call for it and recipes that don't. I sprinkle it on sandwiches, scrambled eggs, boiled potatoes, salads, and anything else that I think could benefit from the deep earthy flavor, slight sweetness, and mild heat. This has become a staple in my kitchen.

Much fresher than individual jars of 1 oz obtained in the US. A wonderful flavor worthy of being an appellation controle!Packaging in heavy plastic was a complete vacuum with the power feeling brick hard before opening. When the vacuum was broken by opening the package, the pepper was loose and fresh without clumps.Consider it for the world's greatest gazpacho made by the chef of the Hotel de Palais in Biarritz.

Fresh andcis a good color and flavor. I will never, ever, be without this piment in the kitchen.

I purchased this on Chef Thomas Keller's recommendation in his "ad hoc at Home" cookbook. Already used it several times in dry rubs, eggs, sauce for Mexican corn-on-the-cob, roasted potatoes. My favorite? Combine with salt, pepper, ground Mexican oregano, ground coriander and olive oil as a quick marinade for grilled skirt steak! De-lish!!

Awesome way to refill those little Piment d'Espelette jars without the expense of replacing them. Super product. Super price.
