The overall quality is what I expected for the price. It works and does what it should. However, I would not think to use it on a regular basis.

This is such a great tool. Very easy to use. I replaced the battery in my watch, but I could not get the back to close. I pressed on the watch. I had my husband press the back of the watch, he's stronger and the back plate would not budge. I ordered this tool and it did the job!!!!! I was so happy. I would recommend this tool. It was a big help and relief.

Was having difficulty in closing the back of my chronograph watch after a battery replacement. Great selection of sizes of adapters. Very handy prise tool for gettin the backs priced of any watch. Nice set of tweezers also finger guards adjustable remover, grease container (possibly vaseline) for lubing watch backs etc.When using the press it's hard to bring. down the top adapter and get it to center with the watch back and the watch itself. Several attempts using my (sausage) fingers to center the back while the press came down failed.I finally figured that if I used blue painters tape to hold the watch back in position on the watch body before placing the assembly in the press it did not move and was aligned when the top adapter came down and snapped closed with little force. Then I removed the tape and assembled the wrist strap.So far happy with this purchase - it saved me a lot of grief.

I bought the grey version, which came with a handful of other helpful tools.Previously, I’d purchased a watch repair kit that worked alright and did most things I needed it to. But I knew I’d need a watch press as well. I gave this one a whirl, and I’m so glad that I did.The watch wrench that comes with the press works really well for watches with a large case back, something I struggled with in my previous kit.The movable plastic pins that hold the case make a TON of difference as well.The tweezers are definitely quality tweezers, but took some adjusting for me personally. They’re excellent, don’t get me wrong, but I prefer straight tweezers.The watch press itself is perfectly fine for a home kit, and will definitely work for most needs.However, my BIGGEST rave is that they included gasket lube!!! It’s not as easy to apply in this form… in fact, it’s tedious, but it was my selling point for this specific kit.Buy the grey one, and don’t look back. The only thing I’d change is the knife. The one it comes with is absolute garbage. Honestly, order a separate, normal one when you buy this kit and you’re pretty much set!

Used it as soon as it came. I ordered it to press the back onto my wife's watch which I opened but could not close. I have used these presses before but never had one of my own. The nicest touch was a small vial of grease to assist the closure without threatening the integrity of the O-ring. Twenty minutes after I opened the box I was done.The mystery part is the oddly shaped die which comes with the set. All of the other eleven are round. Cannot figure out what this would be used for.NOTE: The knurled knob on the watch holder unscrewed so I cleaned it up and used a drop of red Loctite 271. It won't come loose again!
