fantastic product!
We converted a waterbed bed frame to use a California king mattress. After having received advise to the proper size for our needs, the seller recommended a Queen size mattress lifter. Operates perfectly raising the California king mattress about 11" high. This is about 2 inches higher that the bed frame side boards. No more back aches changing sheets! The control switch allows the mattress lifter to raise the mattress and hold it in the raised position withe pump off. Deflating the mattress with the pump on, settled the mattress in the bed frame side boards. Great product, I wish I invented it!

It easily lifted my 220 pound mattress
One thing I hate about modern beds is that the mattresses got thicker and thicker over time. It's like the mattress makers are competing with each other to have a thicker mattress to imply more quality or luxury. Unfortunately, this means that mattresses get heavier and heavier. We have a king mattress that weighs an incredible 220 pounds. Who can lift a 220 pound mattress that is soft and there's nowhere to grab hold of? Luckily, the Mattress Jack does the job and easily lifted our mattress so that we can easily change the sheets and it also holds the sheets in so tucking is a breeze. I highly recommend this product. My only pet peeve is that we have a bedframe with slats and this product doesn't work well with slatted frame so we needed to put cardboard between the mattress jack and the frame to avoid pinching it. If somebody from the company is reading this, you should offer a king sized piece of cardboard (perhaps an added cost item) for people with bedframes that are slatted so that we don't have to improvise by cutting out cardboard boxes to fit it under the Mattress Jack. That would be a nice accessory to have.

Works on a platform bed
Love this thing.I have a platform bed with a solid base and a lip about 3 inches high all the way around to keep the mattress in place. It’s probably similar to what I imagine a water bed frame is like. Jamming my hands down behind the lip to grasp the mattress is painful, and that’s before the 20 mins of grunting and groaning trying to lift the 300 pound king size monstrosity to try to put the fitted sheet on and tuck everything in. It exhausts me, I don’t change the sheets nearly as often as I’d like, and I told my husband that if he dies before me then I just have to light the bed on fire and get a new one, because I’ll never be able to change it by myself. Enter the Mattress Jack! We got the mattress off the bed, laid the bladder out on the plywood platform base to decide where to cut a 2” circle hole for the hose (I have space for storage underneath with little access doors, so was able to hide the pump), connected everything, put the mattress back on, pushed a button on the remote, and stood back and smiled while the Mattress Jack lifted the whole mattress very comfortably past the Lip Of Agony so I could make the bed easy peasy. Pushed the button to lower it back down, no problem, and went in with my day. While this is a bit of an expensive option, it’s also priceless. I’m personally glad I didn’t cheap out and try the spring-loaded lifter “jacks” or something. They really wouldn’t have worked for me. Thank you MattressJack!!

Almost Perfect
Okay. I had to really think about this review for the Magic Jack mattress lifter. It took 2 weeks to arrive (a little long for Prime), and after wrestling with my California King mattress, I managed to get it installed under the mattress. It pumped up the first time, and I'm assuming it's supposed to deflate slowly (although the deflate button on the controller works), it did pump up my heavy mattress and putting the bottom sheet on was a lot easier than before. I've got a "platform" wooden bottom (no box springs) with a 3" lip, so lifting each corner of the mattress and getting my knee under all 4 corners has always been a challenge. I only have 2 "CONS" about this mattress lifter...one end of the hose goes into the pump pulled out because the "glue" wasn't set, be aware it's made in China even though it is shipped from a U.S. "small business" per Amazon. I've only used it once, and will add more information if this review changes. Yes, the pump is noisy, but it's only on for a couple of minutes (inflate and deflate) and it's no louder than one used to inflate a large mattress if one is used for camping. It's also a little pricey and now that I have it, wonder if one of those large "blow up" mattresses used for camping or extra company in your house would work as well. At this point, I recommend it with the caveats above.

Life Saving
As we have gotten older, my wife and I have noticed that it seemed to get harder and harder for us to make our king-sized bed. While bending over was part of the issue, we also realized that we were having more difficulty in lifting the mattress to get the sheets on. And then we bought a new king-sized mattress and box springs, and the firm mattress was considerably heavier. Making the bed, even with the two of us, was a real challenge.Having spent a lot of money on our new bed, we decided to try the Mattress Jack. We are extremely happy that we did. While we needed to get help to raise the mattress and install the Mattress Jack, it was easy to install. But more importantly, IT WORKS! Raising the mattress by around 10 inches means we do not have to bend over nor do we have to lift the mattress to get the fitted sheets on. WHAT A GREAT IDEA AND WHAT A GREAT PURCHASE!
