Nice for a couple of chickens but not a whole flock ..it was freezing outside and I bought this to put them in the shed. It shows a big huge pen with a lot of room in it, which is a deceptive description…I have six big Brahma hens and they weren’t happy with being so close together. It is good for two but not six.

Love these! We bought 4 and will buy a couple more. We use them for our cats. We connect them to their catio - they love the space, easy to put up and very sturdy

I received this yesterday and set it up after work today. My girls have been in a makeshift enclosure and it hasn’t been working well since they became fully fledged.The minute I put them in this pen, they seemed to relax and be at ease. I like that the stakes go all the way through the pen and into the ground to make it a lot sturdier. I set this pen up by myself in about ten minutes from opening the box to putting the shade on. The shade is a tad small for the one side, but it’s not a huge issue. It’s a really great little pen and will be a good addition to our coop (yet to be built!) I have four young hens presently and it seems to be plenty of room for them right now.EDIT: Spring and Summer have come through and my girls are almost fully grown! We attached the run to their coop when we got it built with lots of zip ties and I put construction cloth with metal stakes down around the perimeter of the run/coop to deter predators. The run itself has been really useful as extra room for the girls, but it’s not quite enough for them to feel comfortable in. The shade on top did NOT last- it got thoroughly shredded in the first hail storm we had and continued to disintegrate through the sun and rain of summer here in Colorado. The only other negative about the run I have is that the latches on the doors are not secure at all. My hens are often able to wiggle them open. When I see raccoons in the area, I put carabiners on the latches to prevent little hands from opening the doors.Overall impression: the cage itself is sturdy, pretty good through spring and summer storms (lots of hail/thunderstorms this year). Latches are loose, need to be more secure. The sun shade does not last, especially if you leave it on all of the time. Best to replace it ASAP with marine canvas. I am still glad I purchased this run, though!

Buy this if you love, pinched fingers and dead chickens. This thing is painfully terrible to put together and definitely will not withstand the weight of my chicken sitting on top of it in my coop. Returning this immediately and buying a dog crate that isn’t hazardous to health and safety

The one page instructions weren’t instructions at all, but merely numbers on each part. Of which would have made sense, if the parts were actually numbered. We had to guess what part attached to which, and there being numerous pieces, the assembly was not easy or straightforward. A step by step manual or step by step instructional video would have been extremely helpful.

I ordered this foldable outdoor metal coop because my 12 chickens quickly outgrew their little bin, and I hadn't finished their permanent coop yet. Setting it up was a bit confusing, and at first, I thought they had sent the wrong pieces. But after some time and effort, I finally figured it out, and it worked great.The coop is nice and sturdy, and I didn't have any issues with predators trying to get to my chickens. It provided a secure environment for them while I completed their actual coop. I also ordered a tarp to go underneath, which helped keep things clean and dry.

I never expect products from China to be of a high quality, but seriously don't waste your time or money - none of the connections are crimped to the right spec, which means that the panels don't interlock correctly without modifying them with a pair of pliers. And even if you do get them to connect, the side panels aren't the same length as the ceiling panels (probably a 3" difference) which means that there are poor connections and large gaps all around.Only reason this got two stars is that it had a surprise mirror, which is a fun amusement for the chickens. But this was also mounted inside out and was facing away from the chickens instead of towards them. Completely useless that way.
