NJ SG-2 Camping Gas Stove - Double Burner Portable Butane Twin Cooker Outdoor Camp Kitchen Auto Ignition Stainless Steel Compact Plastic Carry Case Grill Plate

I bought this to replace a Campingaz double stove that used the 905/907 bottle.The stove had seen plenty of action and was due a replacement.I have just used the NG stove for 6 nights camping. I am really impressed and pleased with the purchase.Main plus points:It is compact and comes in a sturdy carrying box.It is well built and easy to operate.As it uses the butane canisters it saves on weight and packing size compared to the Campingaz. I used three canisters over the 6 nights with moderate use as we did have the odd BBQ and chippy meal etc.The grill plate was a real positive as I could cook bacon, sausages, toast, crumpets, fried eggs etc really quickly. I used to cook bacon in a small pan three slices at a time but this grill takes a full pack and cooks within 5 minutes. So much easier and it actually cleans really easily.The stainless steel surface is really easy to wipe down.The whole thing feels well put together and thought through, very happy to recommend this stove for anyone considering it.I had wondered if it was on the pricey side but I am glad now that I paid the extra for this.

First one arrived without the grill plate but with a cloth bag to hold the missing grill plate so returned it.2nd one arrived with plastic wrap encasing the grill plate and gas stove.The 1st one did not have this plastic wrap and came without the bag (not fussed about the bag being missing as everything fits into the plastic case so kind of pointless), however it arrived with a faulty right hand side locking lever, looks slightly bent.On locking the gas into place, the gas from the can leaks with an audible hissing sound and smell of butane.I tried the left locking mechanism and it locked the can into place perfectly. It has a strong burner and if only the right side had worked, I would have been very happy.Now waiting on the 3rd one to arrive hoping it arrives in complete and working order. If 3rd one arrives complete and working will update my review.

Arrived before the delivery date. Used it to cook my dinner last night. I don't have my own transport, so; light, uses canisters rather than a gas bottle, double burner with cannister holders for each, rigid plastic carry case with additional fabric carry all, what's not love. It will be accompanying me to Anglesey. If there are any observations, "grill plate" is actually a griddle plate, flat over one burner dimpled over the other, but it does have a fat collection trough, stove plate is secured by screws, but that is just me, being used to single burner camping cooking. Overall MASSIVELY IMPRESSED, looking forward to using it next week. Need to get some egg rings (flat surface griddle), has to be done, along with sausages and bacon (maybe some mushrooms for good measure and possibly some tomatoes).

The stove looks like it will perform very well. We had to return our first order as the case was cracked and one of the gas cartridge mechanism was misaligned so that the cartridge could not be sealed. The stove was replaced quickly. The stove is slightly too wide to fit inside the windshield on our camp kitchen which appears to be a fairly standard size so this may be a common problem.

Damage to unit must have happened at the manufacturing end as the plastic box it was in was not damaged and also the double cardboard boxes were not damaged.

A real winner when it comes to quality, nice finish!

Best thing for camping but can be used at home.

I'm impressed with the design, very smart however my butane gas does not fit in the right hand side burner causing gas to leak out loudly but the left side fits perfectly, will have to send back
