I do some serious needlework and also a lot of embroidery! I could never have believed that a pair of scissors could be so sharp - you must use extreme caution required when using! The two small pair of scissors are super sharp and so pretty, especially the stork design with it's beautiful colouring! The shears also are exceptionally sharp and easy to use. Overall, I am absolutely delighted with them and I'm sure that they will be serving me well for many years to come! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you.

As soon as daughter (15) saw these she was delighted with the patterned, small scissors. Her sister (13) exclaimed “what, they’re so fancy.” Large scissors, good heavy weight. Came in a lovely patterned box, albeit with no writing on the outside, but would make a nice gift for someone into crafts. Daughter doing GCSE Art, so these will come in useful. Small ones, neat enough to carry around.

I got these as a gift, and was over the moon with the quality. The box they arrive in is very nice and fancy, with a foam cut inside to fit everything snugly. The large black pair are perfect for most fabrics, I've not tried them with leathers but they work nicely on thicker denim with a crisp clean cut. The sharps are VERY sharp, and although the decoration on them makes it a little uncomfortable, it's worth it for the look of them on your sewing table! I'd pay double for this set and not be disappointed. (I'm left handed so am used to most fabric scissors being a bit uncomfortable) Snips are very sharp as well but the shape isn't really great for me - they are aligned well and would probably be perfect for non-lefties!

Despite already having high expectations based on the many positive reviews, I’ve still been very pleased with the main shears performance and those alone are well worth the price but the other two pretty pairs of scissors are just lovely and rather precise and sharp too and the tread snips are also really - well snippy - the handles on the big shears and the snips are comfortable in the hand and I’m looking forward to getting through plenty of sewing projects with such nice and decent quality tools for the job!

I bought these scissors to cut through thick fleecy fabric, which they did, no problem. They have a good weight to them and feel comfortable to handle. The accompanying two pairs of small scissors are very cute, especially the bird-shaped ones, which I will give to my grand-daughter, because the holes are a little small for my fingers! The snipper tool will be very handy too. I am not sure about the box they came in, because I won't keep them in that. A bit of a waste in my opinion, unless given as a gift - "The best gift for love" is a bit twee though! The tight plastic packaging around the box was unnecessary too - a bit tricky to remove. Very good value for a sharp pair of scissors, as they were slightly reduced in price. Overall, very pleased.

These are all brilliant and cut better than a hot knife through butter

Excellent scissors. I cut a variety of fabrics daily (fleece, towelling, cotton, PUL) so my scissors take some hammer.These are super sharp and cut through multiple layers like a knife through butter.Hopefully they'll last 🤞

I just needed some scissors to cut fabric with and so bought this little set without giving it too much thought because the reviews were good. But, wow! The scissors are beautiful! I use them all. They're so pretty to look at and equally easy and delightful to use. Each individual pair is perfectly fit for purpose. I love them. They'd make a really great gift for anyone you know who is thinking of getting into crafts or sewing. 100% recommended.
