We do recommend, however, that you review Silver Honey's ingredients with your vet before use, to be sure it would be appropriate for potential contact with internal organs, as it was developed for use as a topical only.

My dog has a bad hotspot bald spot missing fur will this help my dog and also the fur to grow back?

Hi there! Sorry to hear your pup has a hot spot. Yes, Silver Honey is great for treating hot spots as it was designed for hot spots, wounds, and other skin conditions. We do offer this product in a spray gel (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087WS11YZ) but also in a very thick creamy ointment (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087WHD5PC). Either formulation will treat hot spots, but it's a matter of how much your dog will tolerate being sprayed vs having this rubbed in. We also recommend applying the product and then taking your dog for a walk or outside for some physical activity. This will give the product a chance to start working while your dog is distracted and not licking or biting at the hot spot. Rest assured, if your dog does lick its paw, Silver Honey underwent toxicity tests that show incidental ingestion via licking is not harmful to the dog. Hopefully as the issue begins to heal and gets less irritating and itchy, your dog will be less inclined to lick, too.

As for hair regrowth, by healing the area, the missing fur could grow back on its own. If you want to give your dog an extra boost, we also sell Collagen Care soft chews which help support hair growth.
