Rugged Ridge HD Bumper, Rear for Jeep Wrangler JL | Full-Width, Steel, Black | 11540.36 | Fits 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL

I have a 2017 Wrangler JK. I wanted to mount a winch on the stock bumper but soon learned the downsides. The worst for me was having the winch in front of the jeep grill, blocking air. So i decided to go lower with the winch and hide it if possible. After a lot of research, i choose the Rugged Ridge stubby. I actually wanted something a little wider, but I could not find it.I received the bumper within about 3 days... pretty good. I had one night before heading to Yosemite to mount the new bumper and winch. After watching every video I could find, I started in. Off came the stock bumper and lights, and by myself .... on went the new one.... frickn slid right in. Crazy. That never happens. My fog lights fit right in. I then bolted on the Warn Winch (9500) before tightening the bumper down. It was unbelievably easy. The only issue I had was tightening the winch bolts ..... tight space. The bumper looks amazing.... so glad I did not get a wider one .The bumper build is nice, not amazing. Mine has a slight bend in the top rail, in front of the winch. Unnoticable to anyone but me. Overall I am still giving this bumper a 5 star as the experience and look is amazing.

The winch bracket is a little to close to my sway bar disconnect mount on the rubicon but I expected that. Some minor adjustments and it fits perfect, looks great and holds my winch as it should. It also comes with all hardware to install on a JK or JL. Very happy and would buy again.

If it wasnt such a hassle to return i would return this. The bumper is warped and has a bigger gap on one side vs the other and i had to shim it to get it to sit level. Also as you can see in the picture the center piece is warped. The fit and finish is lacking and doesnt fit right for how much it cost. There are also ripples in the top of it where the metal is wavey. I wouldnt recommend buying this bumper. Only good thing was its pretty easy to install.

I got burned in a different way from a lot of the people who have left bad reviews. I picked out the bumper with the striker bar and paid a big heap of cash, then it came without the striker bar. By the time I ordered this, I had figured out the deal. As much as it sucked having to pay even more money to get the whole setup I wanted, I did score an excellent deal. I got it as a scratch and dent at a deep discount. It may be the same striker bar experienced by the reviewer who complained that it was covered in rust.It was indeed covered in rust, which I was expecting. For the deep discount, I figured I would just repaint it. As it happened, that wasn't necessary. Wherever the rust came from, it didn't come from this product. All the rust wiped right off with an oily rag, leaving a prefect finish behind.It bolted right up to my Rugged Ridge HD full width bumper. It does a nice job of putting some extra protection right in front of the winch and grill. I was a little concerned about mounting this with just four bolts, but I thought about it, and realized that in the event it makes contact with something, the tubes in contact with the front of the bumper will transfer the load across their entire contact patch. It should be reasonably strong. The fact that it's not more heavily built also means it didn't add a lot of extra weight. Plus I just think it looks wicked cool, and I like it.As far as the rust issue goes, I can't speak to the future, but I took it up a muddy road in pouring rain today. If it were prone to some kind of weird flash rust that somehow crosses through the paint, it surely would have rusted today. No, it's perfectly fine. I don't think it will be any more prone to rust than the rest of the bumper.

It was super easy to install. It took about an hour and 1/2 to install. I did my research and it worked perfectly. I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It looks awesome and fits perfectly!

Bumper went on very easy on my Jeep Rubicon 2022 JL 4-Door. A few items of note. There are no sensors on my model but there is a licence plate light harness you must disconnect to remove the stock bumper. I have a factor 2" receiver installed which has a small metal plate that interferes with the installation. I hate to use a cutoff wheel to remove that plate from the stock receiver to get the bumper to fit. The frame plates are not quite the same width as the frame on the 2022 so pay attention when tightening to make sure you don't have the bumper installed off-center. Easy to install.

Love the look and feel, although when you add a bar it's too pricey compared to other brands. Main issue is two of the bolts were too big and could not be threaded on to supplied bracket without doing some home engineering. I did not pay to sign up for metal shop class, so returned in frustration.

I was able to install this bumper on my 2022 Jeep Mojave with no problems! Only took a few hours by myself! I will be getting rear bumper next! So far, I love it! And yes that is a small PA speaker I just mount there to get it out of the way until it finds a more permanent mounting location.

Very solid, impressed with steal gauge and hardware. Instructions could’ve been a little more precise. All in I was 3 hours to remove my bumper and install this one. Side note I ordered the X-Striker bar on the side as it does not come with the bumper.

Showed up rusty. Nothing in the ad indicated that it was just the Bush bars. Thought I was getting a wicked deal on the whole bumper, as pictured. I guess I should have known better.

fit perfect on a 2021 willys gladiator. comes with brackets to mount to jk, jl and jt.
