Grant 4193 Installation Kit

IT DOES SEEM TO WORL OK, A BIT AWKWARD TO INSTALL SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED A SIGNAL CANCELING PART BUT DID NOT, SO SINCE CAN'T HEAR THE TICK FROM FLASHER I PUT A BEEPING FLASHER IN, IT WAS A BIT LOUDER THAN WANTED , SOMEONE SUGGESTED PUT SCOTCH TAPE OVER THE HOLE I DID THAT AND IT QUIETENED THE BEEP A GOOD BIT.

This kit is ment for non-telescopic wheels, but i did get it to work. Paired with a grant wheel and some creative thinking it worked pretty well i did not use all the part in the kit and you have to choose the level of extension when intalling the kit as the telescopic funcion will be rendered useless. It can always be adjusted but you will have to loosen the center nut to do so.

Steering wheel looks good and I'm happy with the purchase. Their instructions could be better. The instruction sheet looks like it was recopied from a photo of a photo taken of an original instruction sheet printed in 72.

Did not fit my ‘74 Corvette as advertised. The adapter fit the spline but didn’t lineup with the horn insulator at all. I drilled another hole in the adapter and had to match one to it in the steering wheel. It now works with my horn and the steering wheel is straight. The horn button that came with the steering wheel didn’t work with the contact supplied with the adapter kit and it should have according to the part numbers.
