This is a very capable relay, especially for the price
I was in the market for a delay off relay and couldn't find anything like this in my local area. This particular relay is amazing for what it can do. The input voltage of 12 to 240 volts makes it very useful for so many different applications. The delay off range of 1 second to 10 days should satisfy just about every use possible. Single pole double throw with both NO and NC contacts is very handy too. And the price! I just hope it will last because replacing it will be expensive. The timing circuit is triggered on at startup and is a bit of a pain as others have pointed out but isn't a deal breaker in my opinion.I think of it this way, for one price you are getting one relay that can control two devices at the same or different voltage, in sequence and includes a timer. This particular relay is controlling a well pump and a solenoid to flush a sediment filter. The relay turns off the pump and turns on the solenoid to flush the sediment from an inline filter. Once the cycle is complete it turns off the filter drain and turns the pump back on. Works fantastic so far and is much better at controlling these circuits than the solid state timer relay it replaced.I'm obviously not an electrician and I could figure this out. Just connect A1 to power and the A2 terminal to ground or neutral. Jump power from A1 to the S terminal. This energizes the relay until you remove the power from the S terminal. At that point the timer is active keeping the circuit energized until the time you set expires. Easy peezy. If you're squeamish about working with high voltage, connect it to a 12v battery or power source to do your experimentation. One last thing. They make a model that delays coming on (A model) and one that delays going off (B model). Both look identical. This is the B model. Look at the last letter of the model number. Based on some of the reviews, people are buying the wrong one and are disappointed when it doesn't work as expected.

Easy to install and program.
I got the 'delay off' version to tie into a pump for hot water recirculation. Works perfectly.

Works well. Does hum a bit, though
A little confusing to figure out how it works, but it does work very well! You can find example circuit diagrams using your favorite image search. It does make a strange humming sound during countdown, but if it’s going to be out of sight, it shouldn’t be an issue. Great product I used as a delay for my HVAC compressor!!

Works great, but power on at startup is slightly annoying
Works great. Included some photos of the inside if anyone is curious.I just wish there was a way to avoid switching on automatically at power up (regardless of "S" input state).I was able to work around that using a double pole relay on the input to feed both A1 and S (instead of connecting A1 directly to Hot), and since I was switching Hot with this relay, I connected 15 to Hot and 18 to my output, and also connected 18 back to A1. This way the relay isn't powered at all until the input relay is switched on, which then powers on this relay; if you turn off the input relay it will turn off the "S" input, beginning the time delay, but the A1 terminal is still powered because of the 18/A1 "loopback" so the relay keeps itself powered until the time delay expires.

Does the job well
I hooked this up to the marine head on my boat, set it to 'on' for 10 seconds. Works great, has many different settings and options.

It Works Great
Needed a delay on the AC charger for my solar batteries and this works perfect. Easy set-up.

Misleading...
I ordered one of these to delay a blower fan from turning off after the equipment stops running to clear fumes. Per the spec sheet, a series B relay should be a delay off timer, which is what I needed. I ordered one, and alas, it does not function as indicated. Instead it turns on immediately when the coil is energized, but only stays on for the specified time as set on the relay. So, either defective, or mislabeled. Either way, huge hassle to not receive what I need. Not sure I will order another for fear it too will be wrong.

Still Works
Using this in conjunction with a contactor to limit the runtime of my air compressor. I like the compressor to stay charged, but as it's unattended for extended periods, I don't want it to run for hours and hours in the event of a major leak. I have it set to about 30 minutes so that the compressor won't run longer than that.

Delay off timer
Good design and works well.

The start switch must be momentarily on as relay stays energized if start switch is on.
Relay is used in the power outlet for an air compressor. I set the relay timer for 1/2 hour so that the compressor will not run when left unattended.

Input is too sensitive
I ordered this as a replacement for a stairway-lights timer in a block of flats.I had intended to order the B1 version but ended up with A1 somehow. It still works, but the relay is energised when the lights are off.The main problem is that the switch-line (S) input is extremely sensitive. This caused some confusion for a while until I realised what was going on: I had to remove the neon indicators from two outdoor press-switches to avoid having the relay triggered constantly. (It is common in stairway circuits to have indicators wired across the switch terminals so that the switches are visible in the dark even though no neutral is provided at the switch)
