ROADMASTER146-7 Flexo-Coil 7-Wire to 6-Wire power Cord Kit,Red

I needed to replace my Blue-Ox cable that had one faulty connection. I decided to get the compatible Roadmaster cable instead of Blue-Ox for several reasons, including:1. Slightly better rated2. Slightly lower price3. Still has the center pin (people complained on Blue-Ox product that the center pin was no longer included...supplier insists the center pin is no longer needed4. My original cable has a metal connector on the toad side, new Blue-Ox cable is now black plastic. The Roadmaster appeared to be metal (not stated, but picture shows "chrome" connectorCable is compatible and works as advertised. Items 1-3 above still valid (not sure if I need the center pin, but it has one). However, I was disappointed to discover that the toad side connector is chrome colored plastic. As stated above, the description did not indicate that it was metal...but the chrome finish to me implies it. Honestly, if I knew it was plastic, I probably would have stuck with the Blue-Ox to keep my system single manufacturer. You live, you learn.

replacement for blueox cable which outer covering did not last

I was concerned whether it would match the trailer I recently purchased but it was spot on. Seems of good quality and stuck nicely in both truck and trailer sockets. The only thing I wasn't too thrilled with was how expensive it was, but it works so worth it.

Just like original, works awesome

My original red coil connector was damaged beyond repair when exiting a deep gutter outside a gas station. All I needed was the red coil wire with the connective ends attached. The package included a bracket and adapter (?) that would be required for a new installation. Would prefer to get just the red coil with connecting ends at lower price.

I bought this to replace a damaged cord from my Demco Airforce One braking system. The one I replaced did not have coils running the full length. It had about 24” of straight cord. When the coils started to stretch out the cable dragged on the road and became damaged. I am pleased with this cord because it is coiled from end to end. It does not even come close to the ground. I expect I should get aloft mor life out of it than the Demco version.

Good buy for the money. Very durable!

If you think the 6 way female is like the ones you see in the store, wrong. Its plastic and not durable enough to hold the male end. With that being said i bought it for the cord and it works great.
