Works well if you prep correctly and use the clay correctly
Definitely works and I was happy with the results. This was on my car which I wash once a week too. Pretty amazing that I was still able to pull contaminants off the surface. There were a few darker scuffs and these tiny brownish red dots that I couldn’t get off my paint no matter what I tried. The clay bar took them off and my paint is smooth as glass and looks better than it already did and it’s a white car. Weather will affect how easily you can knead the clay so keep that in mind. When the sun started to set, and the temperature dropped, it became slightly difficult to knead and fold the bar to continue using it. I only had to use 1 of the 3 available bars on my entire car.

Works fantastic.
Awesome. Great clay bar detailing package. Purchased Cerakote from Amazon and the advertised dry times are wrong. Drove the car after allowing 3 times the recommended dry time and the entire painted surface was embedded with tiny granular particles.Knowing Meguiars stuff is top notch, I bought this clay bar kit to restore a glass like paint surface. Only used one of the 3 bars provided to do a Grand Cherokee Limited L. These bars are the perfect fine clay that I needed. Took about an hour and all is good again. Going to try on my 18 year old truck now to see how it cleans up.

Quality product
My wife's car went from feeling like glass to feeling like sandpaper. I waxed it hoping that would fix it, but no luck, so I started over. We figured that the issue arose from a combination of summer tree sap mixing with particulates from last summer's Canadian wild fires (they turned out skies a hazy orange in upstate NY). This took all of that away and left a clear, clean, smooth finish. I waxed with Meguiar's Ultimate Wax after the clay job and it looks new again (it is a 2016). Bug splats and stains also came off with little effort. I would advise having a second microfiber towel available if you are doing a medium or large size care or pickup as the one will become noticeably damp, but this is well worth the price and the labor to get rid of a multitude of contaminants on the clearcoat and to restore the finish. Highly recommended! It simply works. One final note.....don't drop the clay. The mist makes the surface slick and you don't want to add abrasives to the clay. It you drop it, replace it.

Works Amazing
1st time using a clay bar....my truck's paint didn't feel smooth, used this and wow. Super easy to use, no struggle whatsoever. Paint came out smooth, clean, shiny....looking brand new. If you haven't tried the clay bar....you should.

This stuff is magic!!!
I bought this kit with skepticism. How could a simple clay bar do what I couldn’t do with 30 runs through a car wash, rubbing with a towel for hours, or even my finger nail trying to scratch off the stubborn freaking debris stuck to my car’s surface? My car is 12 years old but has been garaged for years with only 55k miles. Northeast winters of salt and grime embedded itself deep into the paint. I was incredibly jealous of other people’s cars that were much older and yet their paint felt smooth as glass once washed. No matter how hard I washed my car, it would still feel like sandpaper when I ran my hand through it. I planned to take it to a professional detailed but thought I’d give this Meguiar’s clay kit a go.Easy to use. I watched a video online. The first few ribs, I was shocked. The surface felt smooth as glass again. It wasn’t even more than a few passes. And no pressure applied. I could totally feel and hear the abrasion though. Once the first few passes were done, you could feel the friction reduce progressively now that the clay bar had lsss and less dirt particles to cling to. It’s just that easy!!! I am loving caressing my car again and fondling the sides as I drive. Thank you Meguiars! So I did go through two bars and the entire spray bottle of detailer for a never clay-barred coupe. If you have a big SUV, you may need another bottle of detailer. But honestly, you could probably use soap and water and any old bar of clay from Dollar Tree. I don’t care, this was one of the best $27 I ever spent.

My go to for car detailing
This is a great starter kit for clay barring your car. I use these every time I was my car to remove surface contaminants that washing alone does not remove. These are easy to use, simply spray the surface of the car where the contaminant is, spray the surface or the clay bar and gently rub until the contaminant is gone. Be sure to keep both the bar and the paint wet with the spray. Use h til the bar likes dirty, then need until the clay looks clean. Be sure to throw the clay bar out if it gets too dirty. If you drop the clay bar onto the ground, throw it away…don’t take the chance of dirt scratching your paint.
