Over all parts look that they will protect the bike
The part look great. They look strong and will be able to protect the bike on a fall. 1 thing in is that I had to redo the threads on the part. Also the part did not come with any instructions. I had to look at the pics in the Amazon page

Worth it
The instructions are not the best... but overall the product is great!!! Good material, I did drop my bike once and it actually did its job. The scratch on the bars was buffed out and painted over with black. Looks like nothing ever happened. This chick is happy!!!

CHEAP FOR A REASON!!
I will be the first to say that I think these bars, in design, are safer and better looking than sliders, which is why I bought them. However, less than 2k miles in, the weld broke, making a horrible grinding noise under heavy engine vibration, and completely destroying my faith that these would protect my bike whatsoever. As you can see in pictures above, I never even put the bike down?! Engine vibration alone was enough to destroy these bars, and it did it quickly. I know ninja guys are usually balling on a budget, but guys, this deal is too good to be true for a reason, steer clear. Besides making it a pain to remove fairings, they are cheaply built and can't be relied on to protect your baby. STEER CLEAR

Agree with most other reviews
Just like everyone else, the instructions are pretty bad, but I managed to figure them out once I knew how to get the fairings off. As another person mentioned, the bottom bolt didn't line up AT ALL on the left side of the bike (2022 Ninja 400), but the right side does.Just got them on yesterday, so I haven't ridden with them, but I do feel a little better knowing that *SOMETHING* is on there for some protection until I can get real/better crash guards. Not bad for $100 as a temporary solution, that's for sure.

Does the job
Installed myself took about 4 hours. 3 hours for first side then 1 hr for the other. In case anyone wonder this DOES fit the new 2024 ninja 500 model, as well. 4 stars because instructions were terrible but there are YouTube videos just look up ninja 400 crash bars. TST has a great video on removing the fairing for their sliders. Came in handy when taking mine off for the crash bars. Quality is decent. No weld issues on mine like others have experienced. I'd buy from here a thousand times before going to Impaktech, they are frauds with the worst customer service. Just look up testimonies on reddit. Would buy this again if needed.

Amazing life savers for your ninja 400
This cage saved my 400. I went down on a deep 40mph turn and my bike slid a football field and I rolled through the street. My gear saved my life and these bars saved my bike. I was able to pick it up off the ground, start her up and ride her home with no issues (from the bike, I hurt like hell) if your on the fence don't be. Buy these and save your bike. I will advocate for these 100x over after that day. I should be dead and the 400 should have been totaled. But we both made it out. Buy them
