APCUPS Battery Replacement, APCRBC110, for APC UPS Models BE550G, BE550MC, BN600MC and select others

This battery is for my surge protector/ uninterrupted power supply source for my computers.Couldn't find locally and got here ASAP. Works great!

Very easy to install. Took out the old battery noting the wire connections then connected the new battery the same way. Worked perfectly.

As the years go by, eventually your UPS batteries start to fail. When that happens, your choices are either to get a replacement battery or write the whole thing off. The price of the replacement battery here was excellent, and replacing it was a simple matter. Trickier was "recycling" the original battery, but there are always places around that will accept the "bricks".I sometimes can never tell whether to trust the on board diagnostics or not, but one interesting trick is pretty low tech and also reliable. These units all have a base operating temperature, and one can simply "feel" the unit with one's hand to get an idea for it. Then just "feel" it again every few weeks to make sure All is Well. But if it starts to *get warm*... Oops. An easier way is to get a laser temperature thingee and just point it at your UPS to get a reading. Ex: #1: 85 degrees, #2: 83 degrees, #3: 86 degrees, #4: 140 degrees, #5: 83 degrees. One of those units has the symptoms of a failing battery and needs a closer inspection.

I needed a battery to bring my APC Back UPS 600 back to life. I've had bad luck with generic batteries in the past so ordered this one, recommended by the APC web site.It fit perfect, works great and my UPS is back on line.

APC makes great products, however the Amazon & APC AI needs to get on the same page. I searched specifically on Amazon for batteries to fit my APCBE600M1 so I assumed all on page would fit. All off brands fit the APCBE600M1. The 3 APC units fit a bunch of models and I thought mine would be in the long list. I was wrong. I ordered & received it and found it did not. I then ordered aUPSBatteryCenter Compatible for APC Back-UPS 600VA BE600M1 12V Battery. Problem came when trying to return the APC battery. Everything I tried resulted in contacting product support which did not include the fact that it doesn't fit. So I am stuck with a more expensive battery I can't use. Lesson learned at my expense.

I bought my APC ES550 backup in Aug 2008. I bought my first genuine APC replacement battery in Apr 2017. I've now purchased my second genuine backup battery in Mar 2025. I'd say I've gotten some pretty good life out of the previous two batteries. And I know this one is the real deal as the APC box inside the Amazon box has the APC printing on it along with the interior shipping label showing shipped from APC to Amazon. There's also the serial number and on the side of the box. I've been very satisfied with the batteries.

Perfect match for my UPS, revitalized the 12 year old unit powering my vital home items.
