These arrived a week or so back and my first impression of the hair sticks was great. Very beautiful, strong and smooth. I knew immediately that they were just what I needed to hold my hair in place when I put it up (which is 95% of my waking hours). But, I wanted to use them for a bit before I wrote my review and I have used them every day since they arrived. My hair is very long (below my waist) and thin but with these hair sticks, it really doesn't matter what hair type you have. All you have to do is figure out a way to twist your hair into place and slide them in doing a bit of weaving and voila! You have an instant hair do. I had been using a knitting needle up until these arrived. They are much more beautiful than a knitting needle! I recommend these to anyone who wants to put their hair up.

I’ve worn hair sticks for decades. These are the nicest design, there’s a curve that makes them very comfortable against your head. The shape glides through hair without a snag or pull and then stays in place! Quite sturdy for looking so delicate, I like the cut out carved design.

These wooden hair sticks are simple and cute. I have semi-thick hair about 3 inches longer than my shoulders and these are able to hold my hair up well. They slide in to the hair easily and do a great job holding it up for hours. I've had them for a while and they have lasted well; no warping or bending or snapping.

The hair sticks are just as pictured. Smooth, well made and has a bit of weight to the wood. I only noticed the weight because I got another set made of cheap wood and you can certainly feel the quality difference of the wood when they’re held in hand. This is worth every penny.The sturdy material is very long lasting, I’ve had this set for years and it’s still good as new. The same seller and a 4 piece set at 9.99 that’s is also a great value and came with two of these and two wavy simple design hair sticks. I love them all and keep some in different rooms so they’re handy when I want to pin my hair up quickly. Even have some in different purses that I use frequently. It’s easy to pin my hair up with these at certain bbq and hotpot restaurants so my hair doesn’t smell like food when I leave.

These are really well made and nicer than they appear in the photo. It isn’t easy to find these, and it’s an incredible value. I keep mine in a hand carved box. That’s how beautiful they are.
