Denso NEW AC COMPRESSOR (4711537)

I changed mine and with the right tools, you probably can, too.I think my tools comprised:metric sockets and wrenchesbelt tensioner tool - I bought the Powerbuilt one here on Amazonnutdriver and pliers (to remove the upper radiator hose when changing the drier)long pry bar - I bought the TEKTON pry bar set here on AmazonA/C manifold gauge set and a vacuum pump - I bought these from Harbor Freight and Craigslistpocket themometer - I bought the Supco 1.75" model here on AmazonI had never done this sort of work before but I found it to be much easier than I expected. I was quoted $1600 for the job for a new - not rebuilt compressor, drier, and expansion valve. I did the entire job with parts and tools from Amazon for $350- $400!I read one review that suggested removing the bumper but I came at it from the top. There is a great YouTube video showing the entire process and I highly recommend watching that before you begin. The entire process took me 2-3 hours but again, I had never done this kind of job before.I would definitely recommend this Denso compressor. This is the 3rd compressor for this car - 215,000 miles and still running great. The last compressor was a Four Seasons and it lasted only a single season. True, it was less expensive than this Denso but I cannot afford to change a compressor every year. Buy this one....you won't be sorry.

Got this installed in a Acura tl 2004, I went cheap, Ended up regretting it later cause it locked up in 1 week, I would put a link here, cause i Dislike the fact that they almost screwed me out of 100$ But amazon Refunded me, and I was content enough that i decided to try this and Man It is worth it idc how much i paid, Ac Cold as Original and it stays working even 2 years later. I am a happy customer. These people Saving us money with such a good AC Compressor, Don't buy something cheap.

As so common with this year range of Honda AC compressors the clutch magnetic ring had stopped working. While a new clutch is available the simplicity and cost savings of repair vs this new model made this purchase the right choice. I recommend draining/measuring the oil from the old unit so as to adjust the oil level in the new unit. Also, having the ac lines open is a really good opportunity to replace the schrader service valves, which tend to leak over time and are cheap compared to adding more ac if they leak).* This unit has been in constant use since it's installation in August and not a single peep or issue from this compressor.

Straight out of the box. No damage to any of the boxes and the compressor has a bent pulley and the o-rings were missing. I may try ordering another but considering it's supposed to be brand new I shouldn't have to wait for another one to come in. I will take pictures after I get out of work today.

Good value but the directions regarding adding oil were next to useless. I would have given it 5 stars except for the poor directions. Bottom line was that it came with oil already. I added about 2 ounces (PAG 46) to be on the safe side. Works like a champ, just in time for the Alabama heat!

Easy to install once you get access to it. You Tube helps a lot with tutorial videos. Once installed and put back together it worked great. Best price I could find for an OEM compressor. My car, 2004 Accord, V6, 4 door.Spent $240 for compressor and drier along with 11 hours of my labor and that beats the $1400 the repair shop wanted.

Direct replacement and OEM part for my '06 Acura TL. Works like a charm and my AC is ice cold now. No mods needed.Compressor was not charged with oil. Had to add some Pag, roughly 2 Oz oil.MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE YOUR RECIEVER/FILTER ALSO!!!!!!

The Denso compressor is genuine and performs as expected. After replacing this compressor with old one, A/C unit of 2004 Accord V6 works like a new A/C. Cost-effective.
