I used this to make a small sear-burner for finishing steaks done sousvide, or even things like shrimp - which I want to blast with a charring heat but not cook through. It works very well.I have also found it to be fantastic for blistering peppers - from red bells to pablanos, or even shishitos. It's fast (a little too fast if you don't adjust your flame).You will need a regulator, hose and brass orifice to connect to it and fill it with an appropriate jet of propane.

MODIFIED AND WORKED PERFECT
The actual Keenmore replacement part was $130.00. I was able to easily modify this to fit and work perfectly. $100.00 will buy a lot of stakes to sear!!
