Microsoft Classic Intellimouse USB DPI 3200 Ergonomic Five Button Mouse

It was used to replace an old worn-out mouse of a similar type. It does everything it is supposed to. You get what you pay for.

Was a reasonable replacement for a worn out Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and very similar to it except the button clicks are louder and I'd like to turn the light strip off permanently (but can't). However, after 5 months' use it's developed a hardware fault where in certain areas of the left button it sends a rapid double-click. Various forums show this to be a known issue. Eligible for return under 1-year warranty but Microsoft make it near impossible to do this. Can only recommend if the fault has been rectified.
