LG BP Region Free Blu-ray Player, Multi Region 110-240 Volts, Dynastar 6 Foot HDMI Bundle

At first, I put in a Region B bluray, a brand new one at that, and it said it was the wrong region code. I did a factory reset, and the same thing happened. Then I tried a regular DVD from Region B (Germany again), and it worked.But the Region B bluray still wouldn't work. I then messaged with support on here, and got the solution, which is to just have the disc in the tray, and press 1 for Region A, 2 for Region B, and 3 for Region C Blurays.

This plays all regions die dvd. Two regions for Bluray disks.

It plays all my DVDs and Blurays, from both England and the US. Didn't have to set up anything. My only issue is that the remote control has to be pretty close to the player to work. My chair is about 12 feet from my TV and I have to bend forward and point it right at the player for it to work.

I made sure to read everything you can only change it so many times for the regionNot that I need it to. I set mine to the USAIt is easy to work. Unit plays great, was easy to install, displays every DVD that I have tried in it so far and quality is reasonable. Only reason I did not give it 5 Stars is because when it is operating it has vibration noise to it, but slight weight on top made the noise go away.

I bought this player specifically because the listing says that it is region free. IT IS NOT REGION FREE!The listing very clearly says that it will play Bluray discs that are Region B (Europe), but just now I put a Region B Bluray disc into it and it refuses to play it. This is not because of an error on the disc. The player puts a message on the screen saying "This is a Region B disc. Please put it into a Region B Bluray player to play."I was lied to.

I STARTED BUYING MY FAVORITE FILMS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES ON DVD. THEN I HEARD ABOUT FILMS BEING RELEASED ON BLU RAY IN OTHER COUNTRIES. I FOUND OUT THAT YOU NEED A SPECIAL ALL REGION BLU RAY PLAYER BUT I COULDN'T FIND ONE. WHEN I SAW THIS LG MODEL ON AMAZON AND I READ ALL THE GREAT REVIEWS, I HAD TO GET ONE. SO FAR I'VE WATCHED SEVERAL DVDS AND I RECENTLY GOT A REGION B BLU RAY AND IT PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY. IT WAS EASY TO HOOK UP AND TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. IT ALSO DIDN'T COST TOO MUCH. A GREAT BUY!

I received this yesterday and it works great. I have tried it with both A/B Bluray and 1/2 DVD discs. I would buy this again if needed. Only thing that concerns me is there is a bit of excess vibration when it is running when compared to my other LG player model.
