Q: Will a social security card fit in this?

I got this for my social security cards. I noticed that my social security card from 26 years ago fits perfectly. However my newer card from 6 years ago fits, just with a little overhang lengthwise.

Q: Are the cards anchored at the corner?

The cards slide in. They are not going to slide out. Getting the card out will require minimal effort but it will not slide out on its own.

Q: Will this fit in ridge wallet ?

You could probably squeeze it in since the wallet expands; however, I would not recommend that. The PVC used for this sleeve protector is plasticized and will deteriorate over the long term. The plasticizer leaches out and makes the sleeve very sticky and slimy.

Q: Does the plastic lift the ink off the cards

The reason I purchased the MaxGear card holders was to protect my Medicare card from damage. I suppose if a person immersed themselves in water or took a shower with their wallet, then yes, that might tend to degrade the ink on the card and possibly transfer some of the print to the interior of the plastic sleeve. Never swim with a wallet or cards in the pocket of your pants.
