Looks and fits great in my reading nook. Very comfortable to sit and relax in. Instructions easy to follow for assembly. Recommend 2 persons to assemble chair back to seat. Very satisfied with purchase.

Pro: comfortable. I am 5' 4" and this fits me perfect. Low arms allow me to relax my shoulders. When upright, my feet touch the floor. The ottoman is great height and angle for my short legs. My husband is a mechanic and had no problem putting this together with very little help from me. It looks nice and serves the purpose I bought it for. The head and neck area are perfect for my height. I keep bringing up height because a tall person may not fit this chair. The seat ends where it should for my size. It's comfy--I could fall asleep in it.Cons: The pictures shows (at least on my computer) a much lighter color, more ivory, which I wanted, it says beige and that is what I got so not a true issue. I used to upholster with my dad so I could see the quality was poor in that department, BUT this chair is for my she den and will not receive heavy use. The quality of finish on the wood could be improved but not totally a bomb, you would have to look close to see the issues. The lever to put the chair in recline is not as smooth as it should be, but it is a notch type system so to be expected. I am ok with this product. I would upgrade in quality if I were buying for a nice living room.

My mother has a similar chair that she got 10+ years ago by a different company that I love, and I wanted to have one (the benchmaster brand). I decided to go with this one due to better reviews, but it's not exactly the same.For one, it tops out at 45 degree incline, which is OK if that is what you want, but it could go back a bit further in my opinion. The assembly instructions (as others have mentioned) are not exactly clear, and there is some trial/error and difficultly involved. Also, you can tell there is cheap foam on the inside.On the plus side, it is relatively sturdy and solid, and is pretty comfortable for me, and looks nice. It's easy to adjust it so that you are sitting upright or back a bit, and still easy to view a TV and use a wireless keyboard. I was able to take a nap in it with a neck pillow (like you would use on a plane). As someone else said, it's similar to trying to sleep in a car or plane chair, minus the noise. It kind of feels like a well-formed bucket seat. I'm 5'8" and 190 lbs for reference.I've only had it for a few days, so I can't speak to the resilience, but it's pretty good. I'd probably give it 3.5 stars out of five.

The chair is fantastic! Very comfortable. Lowering the chair one or two notches is a little jerky/rough right now. Hopefully, the flow of this jerkiness will get better soon. I've had almost this same chair for about a dozen years, purchasing it locally from a dept. store. Wonderful chair...leather on my old chair is showing signs of aging. Cushion area on old chair has sunken in. It was time for this new chair. As stated, I just love it.Glad Amazon had me compare prices for this same chair. As stated, I saved about $200 by buying this chair on Amazon. Excellent deal!

Was not disappointed with the order. Wonderful to read, watch TV and share with my dog!

Easy to assemble, great looking9k

Seat feels like it slopes forward a little bit. After 15 months of use, the seat bottom springs have collapsed, the cheap rotating system is really poor and spacers fall out periodically. I do not recommend this chair for anyone.My original comments below about liking it more fell apart pretty soon after I wrote them.I placed a 2" x 2" under it and it sits pretty good.My next one will have a seat the also reclines a little when the back reclines.Have some better tools than those included; otherwise it may take a long time to assemble.Overall, I am liking it more each day. I especially like the separate hassock.

Needs to be taller
