The Icy Dock MB732SPO-B Mobile Rack is a high-performance drive enclosure designed to accommodate 2 x 2.5" SATA drives in a 5.25" external bay. It supports both SAS and SATA interfaces, making it a versatile choice for professionals seeking efficient data management solutions.

does the job, be aware of caveats.
I just bought one of these for a machine that has been gradually getting more drives added and where the only spare bays were 5.25 inch. With this device I moved two existing 2.5 inch drives from a 3.5 inch bay to a 5.25 inch bay and added a new 2.5 inch drive leaving me with a free 3.5 inch bay and three free 2.5 inch bays. There are a few things to be aware of, some of them are things that could potentially be improved, others are intrinsic to the basic design of the product. The cage is shallower from front to back than an optical drive. This is a mixed blessing, on the one hand it means more wiring room. On the other hand it can make access to the connectors difficult if the adjacent bay is filled with an optical drive. I had to unscrew my optical drive and pull it forward to access the connectors. The screw holes are pretty shallow and so short screws will be needed. To be fair the cage comes with appropriate short screws but if your case needs special screws or uses non-screw mounting methods it may be an issue. I don't think there is much icy dock could have done to fix this, there simply isn't much space left when you put two 2.5 inch drives next to each other in a 5.25 inch bay.The trays can be a little tricky to insert, if you try to insert them by pushing on the handle then the handle is likely to click shut before engaging properly with the cage. Pushing as far as you can on the body of the cage and only pushing on the handle after it engages works much better. The back panel is very crowded, you will need straight connectors, don't expect to plug in right angle ones without stressing stuff or blocking up other ports. You will probablly end up needing to use an adapter to hook up power (I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0002GRUV4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).The fans seem pretty quiet even on high and basically inaudiable on low (or auto in a cool environment, presumablly on auto the fans will speed up if things get hot). I left mine set to auto.

Never Has My Hard Drives Been So Tidy
This little gem, sits proudly in my new build and it just works flawlessly. It comes with all the screws you need to install it where ever you want, in your case. My case is a Cooler Master CM 590 III Black and has enough room at the front to house two of these, though in my transferred build, which is my old very rare as hen's teeth build, the ASUS F2A85-V PRO Motherboard, with 32GB of Ram a 100Watt AMD Quad Core CPU, used to have my 1050ti inside it, but that has gone onto my ASROCK B450M Pro 4 with Ryzen 5 2600 Six Cores twelve threads build, for making my YouTube Videos and doing some light gaming on. Inside the transferred build, will be one of these and a DVD Drive, both at the front, as on the Cooler Master case, which the transferred build will be housed, the colour is white, so not to get confused, plus to save room, am waiting for Corsair 650 watt hybrid modular PSU (Power Supply Unit), plus some SSDs to fill up this Icy Dock. Do have my work cut out, but will be worth it, as the V Pro even though it is old, it's fantastic for a media machine, which when it gets transferred it will be a streaming media playground for me to have fun with. That's what computers are all about right? Having fun. I'm not a computer geek, just like to keep myself busy, having fun learning and taking me away from the real world for a while into a world of computer building.Anyway back to the Dock it just works, the ingenious design and with all four drive bays, having their own number on from left top is dock one, underneath is number 2, top right is number 3 and bottom right is number 4. If of course memory serves me well? It comes with it's own cooling fan and I must admit I did not think it was going to work, but it does and it makes no noise at all. The only thing I can say is try it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. They light up when in use and you can disconnect one and mount or boot another, it's so brilliant, saves unplugging everything, instead just push the button on one of the docks, then pull the drive tray out, or simply leave it in the dock, without locking it and activate another tray. I love Linux and the amount of fun I'm planning to have booting up different Linux OSES without having to open the side panel of the case, this Icy Dock is so superior to anything else I've used in the computer world and so I highly recommend this product.

Not cheap but VERY good quality.
This is my third Icy Dock product and this one is very niche. I am guessing you have a lot of SATA SSDs is you are looking at this product as it handles eights SSDs in one 5.25" drive bay. Please note there are actually THREE versions of this hot swap bay. This particular one does not have a locking mechanism on the individual drive bays. This version also has eight SATA port connectors on the back of it. Another version has two SAS HD ports which make the wiring much neater and simpler, but you obviously need SAS HD cables for it.The one disappointment is that the screw holes on the side of the unit do not match up with my case, so the unit is loose and not screwed in. My case is made by Lian Li, a very reputable case manufacturer and I note from two other people's reviews that they have had the same issue.Other than this, the unit is built like a tank. Very sturdy, very well made and it looks good too. I am very pleased with my purchase even though I can't screw it into the computer case.

Does the job just
The holes in the side are not standard location they are about 4 mm off on the bottom so screwing in places was hardThe way round 1 of the fans has its wires blocking power cable so had to adjust it and rotate the fan 90 degrees
