Great for apartment buildings
I own a six plex apartment building in Portland that has a bike room that just had bike hooks to hold bikes. Recently, someone broke in and stole a few bikes. I then installed these locking bike racks and they look great, feel solid and I cannot see anyone stealing bikes from that room anymore. I also added one in my own house for my commuting bike to keep it off the floor. Put a plastic tray under it to catch the rain residue. Love it.

Substantial Rack
This rack is fairly heavy, but well built. The only nit-picky issue I have is that the "hook" for the front wheel does not lock the bike in place. I use a bungie cord to keep the bike from falling.
