It works
It does what it is supposed to. 250 bucks... wth... anyway after spending 1333 bucks on the bare tool I guess they thought that I could afford it. Another hundred bucks for the chip for the saw. It is very cool. And very expensive.

It's expensive for what it does, but it works well
Reasonably easy to set up, and it works well and reliably. It seems pricey for what it does.

It doesn’t include the transmitter? UPDATED
UPDATED: September 18Apparently it was supposed to come with the transmitter but because I bought it “used” and they forgot to make sure one was in there. I spoke with an Amazon rep who had no idea it was supposed to come with a transmitter. After looking through the product details again I discovered a line saying it came with one. I ordered another adapter and even and it came with the transmitter, however this one is in worse shape that the “Used” one.ORIGINAL POSTIt’s just a shell with a cord to plug into your vacuum. I went back and read through all of the product details and nowhere does it say that I need to purchase the additional transmitter for this thing to work. Did I miss something?I was excited to finally find a solution to run my battery operated Makita saws with my Festool vac which has the “auto-on” feature when tools are plugged into it…Makita has us pay additional $$ for the tool to have the wireless capability, then additional $$ for an individual transmitter (to plug into the port) at around $70 PER tool and now I’m buying another one for this adapter to run my Festool vacuum. I might be making the switch away from Makita sooner than planned.
