Compared to the first seat riser I used this one's solid gold. Very well made. Easy to install. I specially liked the included wrench because ti fits all the other seats in the house (Yes, I checked). Sturdy when installed with no perceptible sideways slip. Didn't need the side rails because our house is equipped with wall mounted handrails. Recommended.

I wish I had discovered this seat before buying another for a different bathroom. Everything about this Bemis seat is top quality. It's designed extemely well, the materials are solid and attractive, and it installs easily. Cleaning will be super easy because there's only a small footprint on the toilet. It even comes with a decent wrench. This has to be the best raised toilet seat available.

I have been using the seat for almost 2 weeks. It was easy to put on and fits my elongated toilet well. It has not budged and the lid closes softly. I feel secure using this product and it looks and feels normal, except for the elevation. It matches the color of my toilet perfectly.As a large person with bad joints, this product has made a huge difference in the quality of my life. I can rise much more easily and maintain my independence.

As a woman who weighs over 300 pounds, I have found it nearly impossible to find a product that works and does not wear out in a few weeks. This riser, which is twice as expensive as my previous one, should last much, much longer. If it does, it will cost me less than 20% of my usual replacement expenses across two years!It looked a little strange in the picture online, but once installed looks very nice.The seat is very comfortable, and feels more secure than any product I have used over the last 10 years. It is easy to clean. The wooden seat is much better than typical plastic models available today. The rise is not as high as most other risers (about 2 inches, rather than three or four), but is more than sufficient for my needs as far as sitting down and standing up from its height. If I could, I would give it 10 stars on a 1–5 reading scale. Great product! Even better, great price for the quality you get.

A comfortable, sturdy, high quality seat with one significant flaw.THE GOOD: installation was easy and straightforward. Construction is super sturdy and quality of the seat and hinge is top notch. The seat flares in the middle for added comfort. Once installed, it feels very stable.THE FLAW: As some other reviewers have noted, despite a careful and tight installation, there is about a 3/16" gap between the rear supports and the actual toilet bowl (see photo #2). This results in unnecessary stress on the hinge, the front supports, and the seat itself, likely resulting in a shorter lifespan for the product.A PARTIAL FIX: I was able to almost eliminate the gap by simply removing the plug-in bumpers from the front seat supports (replaced with a thin layer of Shoe Goo). This also dropped the front splash shield about 1/8", eliminating the small gap some have complained about.Again, Love this seat, but Beamis should really fix this strange design / manufacture problem.

Hurt my knee and bought this to raise toilet a bit. Already had a chair height elongated toilet, but the few inches more helped. Easy to install or uninstall. Was a little disappointed that the fit was not seamless, but it has worked well, stayed clean, no fuss no mess for female user. Suggest you measure your toilet carefully regarding fit. In my case the gap has not been a problem. It’s bigger than a standard seat, but much nicer looking than what my Mom had.

This toilet seat works well and is sturdy. I contacted the company after several months (but within the 1-year warranty) because the seat is very difficult to raise and lower and the hinges are not adjustable. They responded promptly and sent a replacement.

My first raised toilet seat came highly recommended. It cracked within a month, was replaced, cracked gain, was replaced, cracked a third time, didn't bother to have it replaced. It was hard to install and impossible to clean. This Bemis was easy to install, easy to clean and high quality. Be sure to watch their video. I am 5'3" so it is the perfect height for me, but I doubt if any of these raised toilet seats would work for a tall person.So far, I have not had any of the issues some reviewers had with urine not staying in the bowl. This raised toilet seat is amazing.
