I have been looking for fine bone china mugs as replacements for mine that have chipped and broken over the years. I love drinking tea from fine bone china - nothing else compares. I was hopeful with this mug as it was described as Fine China and the reviews mentioned 'delicate', 'easy to chip' and 'china excellent quality'. Well, I'm disappointed because it is not as fine as I was expecting. It actually looks like ceramic because the inside and underneath the design is cream coloured not white, and it is quite heavy for its size. It seems that fine bone china mugs are now as rare as hen's teeth.

I have so many of these mugs for quite a while, as good as new.

Love these. Not sturdy though - easy to chip.

I've always liked William Morris designs so was thrilled to find these on Amazon. The colours are beautiful and the china excellent quality. Having my first cup of tea in the morning in them brightens my day, like them so much I'm ordering two more so that when lockdown is finally over and I can have visitors again they can enjoy tea in them too.
