LIFE SAVING
I LOVE this AIP keto cook book. It has good educational material. Great preparation help and of course delicious recipes. They are all fairly easy to make and include Whole Foods. (I was disappointed with the other cookbook that I ordered because it was not AIP compliant.) the recipes are delicious and I have been feeling better already. Plus have lost over 10 pounds in less than a month.

Best cookbook I’ve ever owned
This is going to be one of the gushiest, raviest reviews I’ve ever done. I loooove this cookbook. I kind of collect cookbooks. I own many. Lots of paleo, all the whole30 cookbooks, quite a few keto, some AIP and many more. But I think this might be my favorite so far. I was initially disappointed because there aren’t a lot of pictures, and who doesn’t love a good food picture? But it ended up not mattering. The recipes in this cookbook are delicious. A wonderful mix of of flavors. The authors do a very good job of making it clear what is and isn’t an AIP ingredient and recipe. I appreciate that they make it clear when a recipe is AIP compliant, and when it is reintroduction phase. And I don’t feel like there are many books out there that are AIP-keto, so that’s an additional aspect that I really appreciate. I lost 7 pounds in a week eating only recipes from this book, combined with intermittent fasting (8/16). Obviously, that’s probably water weight from me cutting out foods I’m reacting to, but I’ll take it! But I was never hungry, or even craving my usual bad foods (gluten! Dairy!). And the hubby has loved everything I’ve made too. So, yes, I highly recommend this cookbook, even if you’re not on a diet. Healthy, delicious, and simple recipes.•The strawberry spinach smoothie - delicious and filling. I added chia seeds (not aip) and increased the mct oil. It’s perfect.•The creamy matcha latte - Great alternative to coffee.•The garlic and herb mushrooms - I’m a mushroom freak, and I will never make mushrooms any other way. I made them with steak one night, and as their own side with another meal because they’re so good. I sliced and sautéed them on the stovetop instead of baking them in the oven. Perfection.•Broccoli and shallots - we have broccoli and zucchini coming out our ears right now, so we’ve eaten this recipe quite a few times. The zucchini was a nice addition to this recipe. Again, I did not bake, but sautéed on the stovetop.•Sautéed super greens - Swiss chard taking over our garden. The hubby isn’t a fan of sautéed greens, but he liked this recipe just as much as me. Great way to get your greens.•Healing chicken soup - I didn’t expect to like this with the addition of coconut milk. In fact, I almost left it out, but I ended up following the recipe, and this has become our go to chicken soup recipe. Super tasty.•Cauliflower and bacon soup - this was alright. We will make it again, but reduce the liquid. It was entirely too brothy, but the flavors were delightful.•Pesto halibut - delicious!•Skirt steak with chimichurri sauce - we used sirloin instead of skirt. Made no difference. It was great. Froze the leftover chimichurri sauce for future use.•Cilantro lime taco bowls - tacos are my comfort food, so I didn’t expect to like this without the traditional taco flavors, but it was surprisingly delicious.•Glazed pork tenderloins - the husband was singing about this recipe. He can’t wait to make it again. Very surprising mix of flavors. Another recipe I didn’t expect to like, but ended up loving.I’ll shut up, but if you’re looking for a good AIP-keto cookbook, this is definitely one you should try.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have done a variety of diets including AIP for a couple of years. I had two AIP cookbooks, but honestly, overall the dishes were higher carb and I gained a few pounds. Keto has always been challenging for me due to the excessive use of dairy in many keto recipes. This book is the best of both worlds, low carb and AIP. Plus, the recipes are delicious. I expected mediocre meals and so far, all are outstanding. The book makes it super easy by giving you a list of pantry staples and a weekly shopping list. All your meals are mapped out for you, so all you have to do is prepare them. There is a huge variety of meals for a short, 3-week plan. I could eat these dishes all the time and not get tired of them. Best recipe book I have purchased in years.

Love the recipes!
Having autoimmune issues I was immediately intrigued by this cookbook. Also, being a health-nut for years and studying about ketosis I thought it would be interesting to see what these ladies had to say. All the recipes are amazing and worth trying. The AIP recipes are a great reference when looking at a menu for the week. I have yet to attain a level of ketosis where my body is burning the fat stores and honestly don’t know many other who do either. That was why I rated this a 4 - “keto” has become a buzzword that few rarely attain.

Flavor..this is it!
Well..id show you a pic of the SKIRT STEAK W/ CHIMICHURRI sauce...but it was devoured!!! Absolutely amazing!!! The mushroom side dish recipe was outstanding also, and I had just a little left to show. I only been cooking a few days with this book and it does not disappoint! So far the recipes are easy and easy on time as well. I highly recommend it so far. I didn't do the meal planning and grocery list..im a dive-in kinda gal.
