Very easy installation, the only suggestion would be to match the original wire colors and make sure to note the capacitor connections as well.

This motor has the same model number of the motor that I was replacing in my very old Ducane AC unit. The new motor looked pretty much identical to the old one except the three wires were smaller diameter, and there was one color difference. The old one had Black, Brown, and Yellow wires, while this new one had Black, Brown, and Red. So I put the red one where the yellow one had been and everything worked perfectly. I added a new capacitor to go along with the new motor.

Motor is OK as a replacement of the original, and has been in use for several months now, but if your old mounting hardware had rusted (and all 4 nuts snapped the threaded rods when attempted to be loosened) and unusable, you need to buy additional hardware before you can put the replacement motor back in. Buy 4 sets of stainless steel nut washer and spring washer and you'd be much better off if and when you need to take it apart.

Motor went out after around 20 yrs. This replacement was the exact oem fit! Thanks!! Easy to replace too.

Smooth and quite. Perfect fit. Don’t forget to take a picture of capacitor wires before you take off the wires. Took 15 min to change.

I would appreciate more if there is a wiring diagram to show which color is for common, fan. The motor comes with three wires: brown, black and red but there is no diagram showing which color is for fan, common ... Anyway, i've got it working but my complaint is the instruction should be clearer.Other than that, it works wonderfully.
