Thanks for everything, Sam.
What's to say -- the last of the wine, draining the glass. What a monumental achievement, these four volumes of Samuel Beckett's letters. In this final volume many of the letters are oracular -- koans of deep feeling. So it goes. (He liked Slaughterhouse Five). I can't go on. I'll go on.

A great dip into read.
As a physical book, it is of the highest quality: as a collection of letters from a mature mind it is a jewel.

A Great Read......
What a great book! I think it is a major contribution to our understanding of Beckett's relationship with his publisher. It also sheds light on several Beckett exchanges with other writers, actors, and directors.
