If you are looking for an affordable sound system for your PC, yet you want SOME quality for the money, these speakers are a good choice! The bass on them isn't very punchy, but then again, sub-woofer would go pair up nicely with those.Nearly 4 years with them and I don't think I will be replacing them any time soon.Just to mention - they also look very good for the price!

I am not really an audiophile, however I do appreciate nice things, and these Edifier bookshelf speakers are very nice things.Aesthetically they look great, with or without the mesh fronts attached, the wood looks good too, overall gives a nice impression of understated quality.The sound from these punchy little speakers is also amazing, very clear and balanced with good bass, but without that pervasive rumbling that you get from a 5.1 subwoofer setup. I run mine through a Fosi K5 Dac, and I cannot fault the sound in any way, I am slowly going through all my favourite albums and hearing them in a new way!For the money, they really do punch above their weight and cannot recommend them enough. They also come with a full set of leads, but I used a set of QED phono leads to connect them to my system.

The media could not be loaded. Great speakers, super quilty of sound. I bought them for vinyl player, and I'm very happy with it. Styled wood you can keep front cover or take off over all super 👌. Plus I connect them to tv, so movies and ps5 is top quilty sound.

Not amazing but quite good speakers, sound gets a little distorted at high volume but they have a good range, reasonable bass and a clean noise free sound. Perfect for linking up to my old record deck!

Build quality: ExcellentSound Quality: Purchased to use with desktop PC, so my review will be based on use with PC- Controls being located at the back is not a problem because I can control the volume up/down/mute from my Keyboard which is more convenient than trying to reach out for knobs. Power is set ON permanently.- 12 Watts per channel is more than enough as I listen sitting just 1 metre away from them.- Initially, listening to HD YouTube music videos, high frequencies sounded shrill and brash. After a week of burning in period the sound has now become smooth with decent detail.- Experiment with different sound environments. I found best sound quality to be with "Live Music" option.- Don't expect deep bass. Laws of Physics prohibit deep bass from small speakers as such. It's powerful and good enough to satisfy everybody.- If you cannot afford more expensive Edifier or any other speakers, you will not regret buying this one and you won't be missing much except for more power.Conclusion: Edifier R1000T4 is excellent speaker with smooth and powerful sound quality in its price range. My money happily and well spent.Strongly and wholeheartedly recommended.

These are great.I wanted high quality, low noise, low tech PC speakers (no bluetooth, no optical, no tone controls, no lights) but a lot of choice.Everyone is an audiophile apparently, so I had to read from "don't bother spending less than the price of a new car", "they should have been made from solid oak to minimise resonance" to "if you overdrive them they distort" (Really, Sherlock?) and "they don't have enough bass" (do they have 12ft quarter wave acoustic lines, Sherlock?) all the way down to the wires not being long enough (perhaps Dr Watson can help, Sherlock?)They weigh quite a bit (see "minimise resonance") even the passive one. You can hear a controlled bass, (which what you want from a small loudspeaker, not a pathetic attempt to pretend they are Kef 105s), they are clear, they are amazing value.

Good sound but not great. Perfect for my living room turntable

Had to intercept the delivery guy just as he was delivering multiple packages. Easy install without really looking into the manual. Very nice sound wuality ofc, cz it’s Edifier. Parents had one back in the day so I know it’s a trusted brand. Didn’t want to splurge that much on speakers and this was a decent buy. I thought I selected the black one..😅
