The Missing Ingredient
This device took my PRS SE Santana from being "really good" into being GREAT . Sustain is much improved, and double-stop bends are spot on. The spongy picking action that I always encounter with floating tremolos now feels solid like a fixed bridge. I may have been lucky, but I was able to dial this thing in pretty quickly after following the installation instructions from a similar product (refer to another recent review for the link). I have no problem with the increased spring tension. Totally recommended for anyone who wants their floating trem to feel like a fixed bridge.

Totally transformed my PRS! So stable now!
I was really frustrated with my tremelo and wishing I'd just bought a hard-tail. This totally solves my issues. It returns to perfect tune now, and all the strings stay in tune when I swap to a drop tuning. Best of both worlds for really cheap. Installs in 15-20 minutes with no special skills.

Great Trem stop!
Added to two of my guitars with floating tremolo. Tuning stability wasn't a problem before installed (besides dropping E to D). Great fit as I love the guitars but don't use the tremolo.

Life Saving Device
I used this on a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder with a Floyd Rose. This device doesn't come with instructions and the website doesn't have instructions, so I deducted a star. I found instructions online for the Goldö Black Box, which is essentially the same product. You can find that at: https://joe.emenaker.com/TremStabilizers/BackBoxInstallation.html Skip down to installation if you know how to float a trem.It still took a few tries to get it to work to my satisfaction. One of the ways to keep it balanced is to screw it down to the body just a few millimeters away from the trem block. Once you put slight tension on the Trem Endus spring, you can unscrew the bullet end a little until it touches the block. This gives you some wiggle room to screw the bullet back in if adding tension pushes it forward to the block. You can see if this happens on the tuner if your strings go sharp. Then screw it back in until the strings are back in tune. It's better this way than to have the level of the Floyd screwed up. My wasted time is your benefit. Also, set the guitar aside for a day before clamping the nut. It's going to be adjust in the meantime. When it's time to tune and clamp, have your fine tuners 80% out. You're likely going to screw down more often than up.Once set, it's incredibly solid. I love it. You can whammy down to Australia and then in yank up to North Canada without going out of tune. I love big bends. This was a lifesaver in that regard. Repeatedly going to town with bends or bar use is likely to put it a little out of tune, but you can get through a song like that. I love it.

It does what I want
Floyd Rose trems are very touchy when floating. If you tilt the guitar forward or backward, it will go out of tune with with the help of gravity. With the stabilizer on, I can kick back on the couch with my guitar laying in any position I want and it stays in tune while still being able to pull up. I expected it to have more tension, but it works.

Solves the drifting tuning problems on tremelos and non locking nuts.
I have a PRS custom 24 E that was constantly going out of tune. Don't mention trying do alternate tunings-it would take at least 5 minutes and multiple passes before I ibstalled thisstabalizer. Now I can go from 440 to open D with just 2 passes. Awesome. I can still use my tremelo too.
