I'm not an expert jewelry maker and this is the first product that I have ever bought like this. This works perfectly for me. I used it on 0.5mm to 2mm crimp beads and it did the job.

Does what it is supposed to do without having to spend too much. Recommend this product.

decently sturdy crimps beads well and comfortable to hold. only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because no special features. still a great product and does what you need it to do.

Dude. If you ever need a crimper and you don't want to spend a boatload of money on it, this thing is PERFECT. Seriously. I've crimped hundreds of different tubes/beads so far with it and it's never let me down. The squeeze isn't too stiff, nor too gentle. PLUS, it actually feels pretty nice in your hand and fits super well in my small travel case of tools. Totally dig this!

Kind of pricey, as I've bought similar tools for less, locally, and online, but the crimp beads need a special tool, so you have to pay, I guess.PROs:* This has slots for the double crimp tubes, and for the single tube. (I'm not sure if the bigger beads will work with this, as I haven't used it yet, on anything. Busy, busy, busy, but I can at least tell you what it looks, feels like.)* Spring loaded Handles make it open back up on it's own. (Great feature on all such tools).* Hard Plastic handles feel smooth to the hand, but will also be harder to hang onto/Control.* Textured outer ridge of handles should make squeezing easier.* Lightweight, and angled end should make for easy visibility.CONS:* Hard Plastic handles feel smooth to the hand, but will also be harder to hang onto/Control.* Slots for crimp beads are very small when closed. Not sure how that's gonna be, or if it will leave dents.* I suspect this will not do the larger crimp beads, without leaving marks. The slots are too fine.Overall, I prefer the soft rubbery textured handles of all my other pliers better. This will work, but it's a very hard plastic, and it's quite smooth, except the very outer edge lines. Fortunately crimp beads are not a huge part of my life, so for the few times I need it, this should do, though I haven't tested it yet.One final note, to a reviewer who complained that the slots don't even line up - that is the second slot. the first slot does align, and the second one is for the crimp tubes that are supposed to collapse in the center, forming a kind of a crescent shape when finished. It's supposed to be misaligned that way, to put pressure on the center, and collapse it..
