Prima Rear Rack (Black); Zuma 125 - PRE 2016

Been meaning to buy one of these for my 2012 zuma 125 for some time now, finally got it, and it fits perfectly and is real solid, can finally carry a 3rd person on my scooter, probably wont but could.

Great rack as advertised and fit our 2009 Zuma

...however, this rack gets 4-star review. First, it fits my 2015 Zuma 125. This rack will not fit the newer designed Zumas. This rack is WAY more utilitarian than the older designed cargo rack. Compared to this one it was garbage. Second, when I say it fit my Zuma I mean I had to pry it into place to get the bosses to align with the holes on the scooter. The finish is nice but the fit leaves much to be desired. If you read my review and decide to get one of these anyway you will see what I mean. I put the silver bolts included with the rack in the forward two holes then put my body weight on the rack to line up the aft two holes. It bolted on but it was tight. I hope yours fits your scooter better.Part two: I just bought another rack for my 2013 (I have been married and divorced since the last one) and the fit up on this cargo just the same as the previous one. I had to do so creative twisting and prying but was able to get it to bolt on. If I had a sand blaster and MIG welder of my own I could cut and modify this rack so that I wouldn't have to worry about taking it off to do any maintenance on my scooter. I sure hope that the tail light bulb doesn't burn out any time soon. The one pro that outweighs all the cons is that is SO much more utilitarian than the crappy one that Yamaha produces. Whoever the chucklehead engineer is as Yamaha that designed it evidently never installed one and then tried to attach anything to it. So, with that said, if you have a 2016 or older Yamaha Zuma 125 this rack is worth every cent. And I bought this one from ScootsUSA and made it all the way from Chicagoland to southwest Oklahoma in five days. Excellent shipping.

Easy to install. Looks great and seems very strong. Only critical comment I could make is that the screws should be black and not silver

It went on with no fuss. I like having a place to tie down items for transport.

Looks great. Bolted up nicely. Installed it to put my lunch box on it.

Nicely designed and nicely built. It is larger than the Yamaha rack so it can actually hold something. The little stubs on the underside assist with using bungee cords to hold something to the rack.The rack requires two longer bolts, which are supplied. However, the supplied bolts are standard silver hex head bolts and come with no washer, rather than the black finished bolt with washer that is supplied on the Scooter. For such a nice rack, I can't believe they included these lousy bolts, so I have deducted one star.
