Not too thick, not too thin
These socks are not thin and not super thick. For me, that means they work with a variety of types of shoes and situations (walking or jogging, or even with slip-ons). Excellent quality, smooth around the toes (seam is not noticeable at all), and these do not make my feet sweat -- even though they are not cotton. Durability is an open question: I've worn and washed them a couple times -- so far so good. I do not think about my socks when I'm wearing them, which is exactly the way it should be! I wear a women's size 8 shoe (medium width), and these fit perfectly. I could also imagine them being fine for a smaller or larger foot (enough stretch). Hope this is helpful to other potential buyers.

Loved them very cushioned, the only issue was the way they were packaged as the plastic kinda tore some of the threads over all happy with my purchase

Comfortable, warm stocks that stay in place
I have a love-hate relationship with ankle socks, primarily because I wear Skechers Relaxed Fit® Breathe shoes 99.9% of the time. So ankle socks (or any socks really) are a nuisance with these on. While I still don't particularly like them while I wear these shoes, when I wear boots or other types of shoes, these are comfortable, warm and stay in place. Ankle socks have an annoying habit of sliding down. These don't. I bought two packs. I'll definitely revisit them in the winter months and if I ever buy anything besides Skechers Relaxed Fit® Breathe shoes.

color variety and sturdiness are excellent in Nautica Women's socks
These socks seem sturdy and fit perfectly. I liked the colors, making sorting socks a breeze. However, the elastic tops of the socks are very tight, making my legs swell. I keep trying to stretch them out before I put them on, but so far they're pretty tight. Overall, I really like the quality of these socks.
