Great canning option, must have for small batches
This has been a god send for small batches, works great, low maintenance, easy to use. Don’t have to use the big canner, can use it indoors, no having to watch the pressure constantly. Wish we had found this earlier.

Perfect for small batch pressure canning
Have had this a few months now and have been using it multiple times a week for canning and pressure cooking. It has worked flawlessly in both capacities and I am very pleased with it. I have a modest sized vegetable garden so I do can my harvest regularly, but not in overly large quantities at any one time so this pressure canner is perfect for my needs. I was water bath canning prior to purchasing this which was working fine but limited me on what types of foods I could can, so now my repertoire of what I'm able to can has been greatly expanded, such as chicken stock, soups, meat, low-acid vegetables etc. Have also been experimenting with various pressure cooked recipes and have been pleased with the results...it's now my favorite way to make creme brûlées...they turn out perfectly, in less time and less hassle (no having to put them in a water bath in the oven.) Also made some amazing risotto with it, that even Chef Ramsey wouldn't be able to find fault with. So all in all, am very pleased with my purchase and it's performance and feel that it's already paid for itself.

A pressure cooker that doesn't scare me to use!
I have had this canner in my cart for two years, and finally bought it on clearance and I LOVE it! I grew up in the 60's and my mom used her pressure canner a few times a month. I "hated" those days as she had instilled in my siblings and I a fear that if we weren't very careful when walking through the kitchen it would explode, causing great harm...or death. ( I may be exaggerating the death remark, but honestly not sure). She was not a canner, but would cook roasts and other meals in it.I started canning shortly after we were married with a water bath canner. Eventually I wanted to do beans which said they needed to be pressure canned, so I bought one. The childlike fear had not disappeared when I would hear the weight jiggling, so my husband would do that canning. My microwave is above my stove so it can't be used while using the pressure canner. Also, I am short, 5'3", so it was hard, and heavy for me to lift or fill the canner. Also the lid was very heavy.I had read many reviews on the different brands of electric pressure canners, as well as watched numerous videos. This canner was given the best reviews, so I took the plunge, and am so happy! The picture above is my first time canning meat. It was so easy, and delicious! I have bought canned chicken in the past for recipes which has worked out fine. However, when I opened a jar of the chicken I canned, the wonderful smell and delicious looking made me reach in the jar to taste it. It was unbelievable! It tasted like it had been freshly roasted. I have never had the desire to eat any of the canned chicken I used to buy before it was incorporated into a recipe. This unit can be used as a pressure canner, water bath canner, crockpot (has a removal liner), or warmer. It is digital, and has easy to read and understand directions.Because it is smaller, only 5 pints or quarts can be done at a time. I will still use my larger canner for large batches, but this is perfect for smaller batches. I can can one or two jars easily without all the heavy set up time. Also, canning on a hot day will be so much nicer as I won't have the boiling water heating up my kitchen!

So easy!
I have been wanting a pressure canner but have been intimidated by them, water bath canning everything that I could. Hubby got me this for mother's Day and I have been canning non stop with it!! I use it as a slow cooker and pressure cooker as well. That's the beauty of this, I replaced my insta pot with it and lost none of the functionality... Not much at least. The only downside to this is the slow cooker setting only has one setting, feels like hight to me. Also, no large batch canning, If using pints, you can fit 5 in at a time or 4 quarts. If water bath canning, you can't to quarts as they go right to the very top, no room to cover with an inch of water. I have a stock pot so that's not terrible for me. I recommend underfilling the jars slightly as I always have siphoning, causing one jar to not seal so far. Read the manual and keep it handy to refer to. All in all, I am very happy with this canner, just need to know it's limits. It's easy to use and takes the intimidation factor out of pressure canning. When making dinner, I plan ahead during prep and make extra to can up after dinner (taco meat last night). I currently have a whole chicken in it cooking down for chicken stock. I recommend the ball blue book guide to preserving if you are new to it, I found great recipes that I have been using in this canner since I got it. Happy canning/cooking!!!

Easy for beginners!
I've been canning for years, but if you just started the manual is easy to understand and follow. I have 4 stars only due to size 4 qts is to small for me, it does state that in the description but I can easy too much to be limited. I will look for a bigger one or just buy another. I love the set it and go about other house chores instead of having to baby sit an on the stove pressure canner guage.

I love using this
This works really well. I like that it’s multi purpose so I can use it for pressure canning and cooking. So far it has worked great for both.

Best Investment for home canner
I have been canning over 50+ years. Recent years only doing water bath due to induction cooktop. Looked at all my options for pressure cooking canners off the cooktop. This was the best choice for space, money, and ease of use. Very please with my choice thus far. Only a fewbatches in, but this so far has been a breeze.

Works Great!
This pressure canner works as advertised. If you read & follow the instructions, you will succeed. One video reviewer was concerned that steam continued to escape during the canning process. But, the instructions clearly state that this is normal. READ THE MANUAL! I have only pressure canned so far, but look forward to using it for other canning; especially the low pressure canning option to replace WB canning. I am very happy with this appliance.
