If you are looking for a flash light to use in combination with a handgun in low light situs, this is perfect. This is very similar to the flashlights used in Police Academies when teaching low light tactics. The momentary switch is very easy to reach with a thumb and requires very little pressure for a quick burst/flash of light to best maintain your concealment. There is an “always on” option, you simply push the tail-cap in further and harder for the always on option. The size/girth is perfect for a medium-sized hand to keep a firm one-handed grip while operating your firearm with the other hand. I cannot yet speak to the battery life as I haven’t used the light enough to establish an opinion. Seems like it will be durable and take a beating…although it hasn’t yet taken any abuse. I bought at least 5 other lights which claimed to have a “momentary switch”…but this flashlight is the only one that actually does have that feature. Also, many lights were not sized properly for use with a handgun….many were either too thick or too thin to be firmly held in a one-handed tactical grip.

This light was sitting in holder since purchase, and the second time I used this light during a camping evening the plunger (on/off) button stopped working !!!Save your money, buy another brand !

This is a perfectly sized durable flashlight for LEO’s and legally armed citizens. The momentary switch is large, flat, not recessed, and works perfectly. It can also be used with a steady on/off function. There’s no extra useless modes, such as dimmer, SOS, etc., and it’s plenty bright. I liked it so much I purchased a second one. The listing offers great accurate photos and videos, or I would have added some. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

I needed a new light on my duty belt. Flashlights tend to live a nasty and short life with me. And I'm not above dropping it on the ground never to be found again when I transition to my handgun. So I am not a huge fan of paying $150 for a flashlight. This little wonder throws way more than the old-school Maglights of the 80's with next to no weight on the duty belt. I may have to stock up!

Got this for tactical use. Other, similar flashlights have 4 or 5 modes; sometimes when you need a simple, bright light you get strobe mode or S.O.S. This flashlight ALWAYS starts in simple, bright mode with a simple press of end cap. Very important when time is of the essence!

Very dim even with new batteries. Submitted return. Back the my old stand-by SureFire.
