Auto Paint For Toyota 4 Runner 1E9 Galactic Gray Mica

This item comes with a nice pair of latex gloves and 2 high quality brushes.The paint is an exact match and the clear coat really seals the deal.It was extremely easy to apply and only took me about an hour to get all the dings.The only problem I had was that the paint didn't come in a container like the one shown in the picture. It came in a much shorter and wider container. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with that, but it came filled to the brim with pain. Again, I normally wouldn't have a problem with getting the most amount of paint for my money. However since it was so full, I didn't want to hold it for too long in my hand because I knew I would spill a bit here and there all over my driveway. So what I did was use the paint that was on the lid and leave the container unopened next to my truck's tire. HUGE MISTAKE. The wind got so bad and I wasn't looking and the paint spilled all over my driveway. I lost about 90% of my product there. Thankfully I was still able to finish all the dings, but now I no longer have enough supply for future paint repairs. I would've really liked this item to have came in a slightly larger container.

I bought this paint a couple of years ago and overall I give it high marks. It gave me the desired results...prevented rust from developing.That said, it's important to have some expectation management about touch-up paint in general:1) The paint might not be a spot-on match: I applied this touch up paint to a (then) 8 year old 4Runner. That's 8 years of weather effects against a batch of brand new paint. The clear winner is going to be the brand new paint. You'll notice your repair sites will reflect a shade or two off than the rest of the vehicle.2) Unless you're a bona-fide pro, you're going to see the repair marks. It's going to be hard to get the paint depth to an exact depth unless you want to fill the chip, let it dry, wet sand and then wash/rinse/repeat over the course of several hours/days until it's dead perfect. That might be great if you only have 1-2 chips to fill and have the time to let the vehicle sit in the garage while the paint corrections are underway, but patience may very well run thin if you have several chips or scratches to cover.3) Also, I ditched the provided paint brushes, which are great, for some 1.5mm micro-applicators. Worked like a charm, especially on the side panels when a brush just wasn't getting it.Overall, great stuff (I still don't have rust), but don't expect auto-body professional results from brand new paint applied to older vehicles.

It's OK.Ordered from Jeffs Paint. The color was a close enough match to my 2003 Toyota 4Runner, but not perfect. Probably because the shine was sticking to the bottom, side and top of the small container it came in. This required about 15 minutes of mixing until it matched.The container was even smaller than the one pictured, and I would have preferred a container with a wider base and/or a narrowed top. This container can tip easily.-1.5 star for the small, lackluster container and problem with mixing the "metallic" shine.-0.5 star for the paint not matching perfectly. I'm not a perfectionist, and the jurys out, as it's an 11 y/o car. Still cant help but think I didn't get all the shine to mix, though.I might order from Jeff again, but would probably try another seller first.

Paint did not match existing paint ( it was much darker) and the clear coat was thick and glue like. It would not spread.

Came nicely packaged and with nice applicators but the shade of gray was darker than what was on the car. I went ahead and used it but I won't try it again.

Toyota 4Runner touch-up paint much smaller containers than pictured .But came with two paint brushes a glove and more than enough paint and clear-coat to do many repairs to the chips in my car. The color is a perfect match to my Toyota, would highly recommend this product over Color Doctor or other so called chip repair systems.

Great paint. I had to destroy the container trying to get it open though.

Nice kit but it's tough to get an exact match on the paint.
