It was hard to find a replacement for our 20 year old Osterizer blender, but this one is perfect !

Inexpensive Comolete Oster pitcher replacement. Decent for basic usage. Blades are sharp and well suited to blend but are considerably a smaller gauge then the original blades, don't think they do well with ice. The pitcher cover fits snuggly over pitcher. The included gasket is slightly too large and didn't provide a good seal. If you're having a hard time finding official Oster products want something economical and would like the convenience of Prime... Look no further. If your in need a high quality replacement... You have to look for an authorized Oster reseller since I haven't been able to find one yet.

It's pretty good for the price. It beats buying another blender.Just a bit small, but it's just for smoothies for 2 senior citizens.

The Oster blade is the same as on the original Oster machine. It is very good and lasts an acceptable length of time. The jar on the other hand is just an inexpensive plastic piece. The "Cup" and "Liter" markings are inaccurate. You can still figure out how much liquid you need to add to produce the size of drink you want, but it shouldn't be all that difficult for the manufacturer to mark it correctly.As a follow up, for some unknown reason the black blade base piece cracked on my blender jar. I've never had one crack before. I'm extremely happy to report that the seller, OD Outlet, is sending a replacement to me at no cost. This is 72 days after I received the original shipment! Thank you OD Outlet for such superior customer service. No arguement, no hassle, just a quick agreement to stand behind the product they sell. I'd also like to thank Amazon, not only for their great prices, but for using great sellers like OD Outlet. That is the reason I changed my review to 5 Stars.

Fit my Blender PLASTIC. original glass broke

Reading reviews after my order I expected a shoddy, cheap knockoff. My blender is from 1983 Oster. I lost the top years ago but made do with various tupperware lids. Then my carafe cracked, and finally wasn't able to twist off bottom to clean. That was the last straw, prompting me to order a replacement. The blender jar is absolutely comparable w original as far as weight, thickness of plastic. The bottom twist off which holds the blade seems a little thinner. Blade is nice and sharp, since I've been working w original since the 90's so def an improvement. I'm happy. 15 dollars vs 60 something for a brand new one? Nah. I'll stick with this til it dies

The media could not be loaded. After over 10 years, I finally dropped and shattered the glass pitcher for my Oster blender. I decided to try a Plastic one bc it's lighter and better for my wrists when cleaning/handeling. The base was a slightly different design from the original Oster base and did not fit securely causing the pitcher to jiggle. I did turn on the blender and it wasn't too bad with an empty pitcher; probably will work just fine and steady if I hold on to it when it's filled with items to blend. I have the original base and it seems to fit pretty well with the pictcher so I can use that if necessary. The lid has a very secure fit, so no worries about it flying off and, although I have not checked the accuracy of the measurement markers yet, that's not a big deal for me. There is a slight difference in how the blade is secured to the metal plate also, but I have the original mteal plate/blade as well for a back up. I really like the lightness of the pitcher so still debating if I should keep or return. If the price was a little lower in price, I would definitely keep it despite the flaws. And if everything fit a little better, it would have been a great deal for the price point. If I decide to keep it and use it, I will update my review on how well it handles :)
