Royal Brush PA-ACR3000 Royal and Langnickel Pink Art Acrylic Painting Artist Set for Beginners, Pink

When a 12-year-old asks for an acrylic paint set and you know nothing about art what do you do? We took a gamble on this set and we were very pleased in the product! We recently had a artist family member look over the set and were even more pleased when he reported all desired pieces were included and of good quality. For a younger person or a beginner, this set is ideal because a variety of colors are included without having to mix them yourself. Also, the paints are in smaller quantities which means a large quantity of paint won't dry out when a 12-year-old forgets to put the lid on tight enough :-) . The brushes are good quality and clean up well. The two (very) small canvases included are a good touch to allow the beginner to experiment before purchasing a large canvas. We did need to glue one of the white trays back into the case, but nothing drastic.

For the Big Kids Too: Most of the reviews were for purchases made for kids, well I'm a big kid (32) & this set is perfect for me! Definitely not just for younger artists. My 9 year old son gave me this for Christmas (finally going to try my hand at painting) & I love it! Very impressed overall...exactly what I need to get started with my new hobby, has a nice box with a place for every piece, & the quality is great. For me, simply having all your tools & paint neatly stored in a compact box is priceless (who wants to buy special storage for your art stuff when you have no clue if you'll be any good in the first place?!) & an all pink set, that puts it over the top for me...it's really cute & the pink screams "Mommy's, keep out!"Not Just for Beginners: I def. see myself using this set from now until I actually figure out what I'm doing (which I'm guessing will take a long time, LOL.) It may say beginner's but it'll be great on the go or painting anywhere & not being stuck in a studio/designated art area (personally I prefer kicking back on my bed watching tv while doing any hobby but hey, the park works too.) You can even refill the tools/supplies easily so this set will definitely be a keeper for me.All In One Gift Set w/a Personal Feel: If you really want to give an All in One Starter Set...grab this kit, a few pads for painting (or canvas), a roll of paper towels, a small container for rinsing/cleaning your brushes & you're all set. Put it all in a cute basket & you'll have a really nice gift set with that personal touch quality (I have no affiliation to the product or seller...just a few good gifting tricks up my sleeve.) & pads for painting w/watercolors work just fine w/acrylics but are much cheaper & easier to store than canvas (pads for painting w/acrylics may exist but we only found the watercolor ones.)

I purchased this as a gift for my niece and she was absolutely excited about it she still uses the box til this day!The box was a bit smaller then I imagined but it turned out to be a great space saver! She now puts all of her art supplies in her langnickel box and it's easy to find easy to store and just awesome for her!It was a great starter art set for someone who is just getting to know products. This saves a lot of money wasted when people who just started painting.

People need to remember: you get what you pay for. If you are wanting a great quality set, Amazon has some of those as well. This is a lower price, but definitely worth it.I bought the painting one instead of the Sketching one. I was worried because I saw that some people were receiving dry paints, but mine was completely fine. Brushes come brittle but if you play around with them with your fingers they become soft and better to work with. The box feels sturdy enough to handle normal use, does come with plastic trays inside to hold the products.My only complaint would be the canvas boards, they're essentially just cheap cardboard with canvas-like material on the sides. I recommend ordering some small canvas panels with this to practice on as well.Other than that I really enjoyed the product!

I'm a beginning painter. I've taken a couple of classes and thought I'd buy some paints of my own for home use. This paint dries way too fast. It needs a retarding medium added for use when you need to keep it from drying so fast. If you're painting small strokes it's ok but when covering a background on the canvas, it really lacks since it dries almost instantly. The colors are great though. The brushes seem ok. I don't like the palate that comes with it. It's not comfortable to hold. Since I don't draw before I paint, the pencil etc is not something I've not used so I can't speak to the quality of those. As for the case, it seems a little flimsy but is fine.

You get a very good amount and since I would consider myself a beginner, I would say it is good to start with. I just didn't expect the canvases to be so small, maybe I missed the dimensions in the description. Def had to buy real canvases to create with, gave the small ones to my daughter.

This was like perfect for a little starter kit. Mt sister is more then a beginner, but she's been in a rut lately, so I bought this kit for her as a push to get her painting again. She was super happy with it, the different colors and the new palat made her so very happy. The little canvas that came with it (2) were perfect for her to give to her daughter to paint on! The brushes were very nice quality!

A great kit for beginners really has all you need and is very compact. I only wish the white had more quantity since that is the color you use the most. Also the brushes could be a better quality. They aren't bad but they could be better. But overall I am satisfied for the price.

Arrived on time, is good value for money and good quality no complaints.

It's good! But thought the painting tubes would be bigger in size. I thought one tube was purple because I didn't read the label but when I squeezed it out turned out to be blue. So it lacks the purple acrylic paint. All in all I love some of this paints, specially the black. After using the black and putting it on canvas it gives a shiny coat. Also, some of the handles of the brushes chip away easily after a few usage. All in all great start set.

I was sceptical at first but it’s a very great product and the case is beautiful.

Great starter kit in a lovely box. Comes with several brushes and a mixing palette which is handy and easy to clean. Quick dispatched and delivered too. Great value for money.

We have not opened this item yet as it is a Xmas gift wicheck I'm sure my daughter will enjoy
