Dry Launch SP7RBX-CL13 Shoreland'r Left Marine Replacement Tail Light

As the former reviews say--order the opposite side of what you need. I ordered the CL (left / driver) side and it fits the right side with the curved side of the light facing out (the right side of the trailer). The wiring code color is wrong (yellow) as well, which is generally used for the left side (drivers) turn signal and brake light but it doesn't matter--just wire the green trailer (right side / passenger) light to the yellow light going to the bulb. Brown wires are your running / marker lights.

I was very unsure if the light was going to work on my trailer and sure enough it was good. As I've seen other reviews and questions mention the left is actually the right. This depends on what side of the trailer you consider left or right. For this case, if you are looking at the trailer from the front (hitch end) this is the left hand light.Light was easy to install.

Overall, great item. BUT,... I read previous review and I just cannot believe it... Right is really left! I ordered a Right Hand side tail light (factory packaging shows right too) and it is really a left hand tail light. Perhaps they should change it. Instead of right or left... Label it "Driver Side" or "Passenger Side". Again I ordered Right tail light and I got a Left or Driver Side tail light!!! I still cannot believe it. I ordered another! Ordered Left this time and got what I needed... A Passenger Side tail light! Confused yet? Bottom line, order opposite of what you need!

Here's why I believe confusion exists over whether this is a left or right side bulb - pretty sure its both. The innards are from a left - note the SP7L imprinted on the clear bottom insert and the brown/yellow/white harness. But, the red housing is a right, with the curve on the right. Not great aesthetics, but as long as it functions I probably won't bother with the hassle of a return. In the company's defense, the picture is exactly what you get. I was just hoping it was a stock picture as their one for the right looked the same. Never considered the company may be using the same housing for both parts. Disappointing.

Product as described. However, as everyone was stating, order opposite of what you need. I did...and the wrong one arrived anyway. So, hopefully this will help. From the actual package it states: Left is driver side. Right is Passenger side. Ordered the other side, so hopefully it will be correct.

It was very simple installing this light, I thought I was going to have to cut wires and all that crap but It was just unplug the old and plug in the new light, 2 simple screws provided for the light and I put 1 screw for the ground ... Job was done in 15 minutes.Took the jet ski out Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday, no issues with the light, works great.Thank you

Previous comments are correct. This is for the passenger side of the trailer. Description is deceiving stating it is Left. Looks like it should work fine though and I've ordered the "Right" one.

Installation went well and product worked great!
