All is well the new arm fixed the problem. Great cussomer service.

The device started opening and closing on its own. Then after a few days, it got stuck and would not release the clutch. Now the Arm Actuator is frozen and will not open or close. This was a replacement arm for my gate. The first one at least lasted for over 5 years. // update. TOPENS sent me a new arm actuator after performing some tests. The company was quick to reach out to me and correct the issue since it was still under warranty. I will add a star for the customer service. They made fine tuning operations a snap. They need to focus on QC and add stops at both sides.

This was ordered to replace one side of our gate opener after a deer completely demolished the last one trying to get to my garden's smorgasbord! Have had this opener for a few years and it works perfectly every time...until the deer episode! This was easy to replace, another plus for this system. You can't go wrong using this gate opener. Reliable, easy to install and price is fair.

OK, it's Texas so the environment is tough, but I got the heavy duty unit for a small 12' gate thinking it was overkill. After just a year the unit started to have problems and eventually locked up. I disassembled it, checked the seals and greased it before reassembly. It worked intermittently but wasn't consistently reliable so I replaced it. The replacement is working great but I'm not confident it will last any longer than the original unit.

5 stars if you know how to install it. Otherwise you'll be frustrated and say it doesn't work. I'm working on an installation video and hope to have it uploaded before the end of the year. Adjusting it to do a full open and full close takes some patience and unfortunately isn't in the main installation manual. You need to loosen the phillips screw on the underside and adjust until the gate does a full swing. And then you have to disengage the motor, put the gate in the middle (halfway open) position and re-engage the motor. Anything else seems to not work. Once you get it right, it works great and you'll be happy with it.

Gate opener works most of the time, but concerned about the failure of the opener adjustment after only 1 yr and a couple of months. Invested in this system so not feasible to change to another system. BUT, if failure continues I will have no choice but to replace with a more reliable system!
