I combine these organic walnuts with organic pecans and keep them in my refrigerator for daily use at breakfast. They are always fresh and crisp with good flavor and I like the Now Foods is a USA company.

These Now brand organic walnuts are so much better than the organic bin nuts from the store! No dust! So super fresh with zero rancid smell. And mostly whole walnutsin the bag. They taste great and I am super happy with this purchase. Will definitely buy again.

Now has lovely organic nuts. We are. picky about the supplier of our organic nuts but when we get the " Now" brand they are always good.

The Now Foods walnuts are not the best quality ones, but they are really good for snacking and backing.They have a nice flavor, but mild, and the classic crunchiness of raw walnuts. For nuts ordered through Amazon, these were pretty fresh; still, upon opening, I preferred to store them in the freezer. I don't remember any pieces to have been dried, shivered or bitter.The bag contains mainly walnut quarters, rarely halves, some but there's also smaller bits of pieces, especially once you get to the bottom.While I like that Now Foods bags are recyclable through Terracycle, the plastic is awful quality. The zip closure always breaks on me easily, so I end up transferring the nuts in another container or using a bag clip.

As per the title, those are The. Best. Tasting. The. Freshest. Walnuts. In. This entire Universe. And beyond.Maybe on some distant planets there is something better.This is coming from a nut nut. :) I’m a nut for nuts, thank you very much.Even color of those is different than that of your conventionally grown California, large plantation, buy-the-bees to pollinate cuz the environment is so artificial walnuts.Try ‘em, you won’t regret it.Some people are critical of the Now brand for this or that reason, I’ve been consistently happy with their products, and this one is no exception. At least they tell you precisely what’s in the package, you know what you buy, and in this case those are ORGANIC walnuts that are I think grown on good soil.If you appreciate good tasting food you know that soil matters. It even matters to how your milk or cheese tastes if cows graze on grass growing in good soil. Farmers know it. Seems this product comes from some area with great soil.
