I have 7 adorable grandchildren under the age of 6. I got this for two of them that live in MN, but gave it to them in the presence of their IA cousins. Upon opening it all 4 fell under the spell of the perky penguins chirping and making their way up the ladder and down the slide. The smiles appeared and the only sounds were their sweet giggles, laughing at the penguins antics. (FUN)As it's mostly a watching toy, there was no fighting. At least until they decided to see what happened when they put the penguins on backwards (educational, durable). Not much as it turns out, the mostly stick at the bottom looking like they are kissing (educational?)When my 33 year-old-daughter saw it, she begin to talk of how she had begged for one for years as a child so when I saw it for $10 on Amazon I got her one for Christmas. Don't think she appreciated it, but her kids did.I think it's a darling toy that kids really enjoy watching. Kept them entertained MUCH longer and more effectively that I had thought it would.

Product was good but somehow my daughter is not interested. But its fun to see penguins.

I bought this for my son, because I remember watching these things outside of the toy stores in the mall when I was young. I hadn't found them in stores anywhere, and randomly stumbled upon this one! My son is only 15 months old, so he cannot "play" with it, because the penguins are small enough to be a choking hazard. So, I put it on a table where he can watch it, and he just watches in amazement for about 10-15 minutes at a time. Any other moms of young toddlers know that 10-15 minutes of engagement from a toy seems like an eternity! So, well worth the $9, in my opinion. The quality is fairly average for toys like these, they are not meant to be played with but rather just to watch. However, you can move it around and it does not fall apart or anything like that, but with rough hands it could malfunction or break fairly easily.

We bought this toy for our son for his second birthday. He's now four years old and I was going through his playroom getting things out he no longer plays with and make room for new toys. I then came across this toy and realized it deserved an awesome review after two years of use.. YES IT IS VERY ANNOYING to listen to. THE thing NEVER shuts up! but my kid flipping LOVES this damn toy. NOT only that but we haven't taken very good care of it and the thing still looks new! The slides do pop out if you pick it up by the slides.. as my toddler did often. but they are easy to slide back in place. BTW It made my son extremely nervous that there was a chance this toy was going up in the attic so he hoarded it just to make sure I wouldn't try to sneak it away. That is how much he loves this toy! I almost feel bad wanting it to die so I don't have to hear the damn squeaking anymore haha.

Battery pack is loose so every time it gets knock even a little bit ( and this is for a 3 year old so it gets knocked quite a bit) it doesn’t turn on. I have to unscrew the flap and jiggle the battery case for it to turn on again.Also, the numbers that you have match to attach the track are only on the blue tracks but missing on the main part.
