I got this for my camper because we often camp with family and people come and go from the campsite frequently, they need to be able to get in if they don't have a spare key. This lock only locks the deadbolt when the keyless system is used, so make sure to leave the top lock unlocked if you need to use keyless entry.Build quality is great, it fees very sturdy and everything installed smoothly. You may need to adjust the fit and the strike plate but installation took 5 minutes. I don't use the wireless fobs, to me that seems like a pointless bonus because if I had my keychain on me I wouldn't need keyless entry! But maybe it's just a "why not" bonus, some people use them.I also like that this uses laser cut keys instead of traditional RV door keys. It's not like my camper is a fortress, the extra 5 minutes it would take a thief to pick this isn't going to help when they can just force the cargo door open with a screwdriver and climb in, but I like the fact that people can't just easily order a master key for this lock and walk in looking like they belong.So once again, pros are:- Excellent sturdy build quality- Key system doesn't have an easy-to-find master key- Keyless entry plus 2 wireless fobs if neededCons:- Price, but only comparing this to OEM locks; compare this to other keyless entry locks and it's not a huge markup but is definitely higher quality- I bought this 2 weeks before Amazon day and coulda saved 32% :(- Only comes in black, maybe? Not sure if this is worth being a con, the only RV door lock colors I've ever seen are white and black and black looks fine on a white door so who really cares?

This RV door lock is great quality. I really enjoy the flexibility of key, code, or remote use. It allows for different choices in certain situations.I THOUGHT about removing one star for one gripe I have, but perhaps the company can make improvements in future models. My gripe is that the remote has raised buttons. Not a huge deal, however when you have the remote in your pocket, you’re constantly clicking the buttons by accident. This can be avoided if you wear a lanyard rather than placing the key in your pocket.Other than one issue, so far I have had nothing but good experiences with this lock. It’s a quality build, and works well every time. Would recommend and would buy again.East of installation, keyless entry, ease of use, fast.

I decided to go with a cheaper model when I first got my RV in 2023. Multiple challenges, short battery life, and eventually the key breaking off in the lock convinced me that this was the one I should have gotten in the first place. Easy installation, took about 15 minutes with dropping a few screws, and it works perfectly. Everything about it is just better quality. It is even quieter and easier to operate. Just do it.Don’t be “cheap” like me and waste money when you’ll just be back for this one in a few years anyway.

I had a roommate in my camper and they would just not get hint to leave; so after many months of trying to help them find a place and of dealing with their obnoxious behavior, I finally bought this! Fit perfectly and install was super easy and quick! It works just like it’s suppose to, looks good too! I love the keyless remote! I think they got the hint when they couldn’t get back in and their stuff was packed up! :)

I knocked off one star as the first one I received and installed was defective in that the deadbolt did not close all the way, and therefore the trailer could not be locked. But this is truly a stand up company. When I called customer support, they quickly arranged to send me a replacement after I provided the Amazon order number, trusting me to return the defective one. The replacement lock arrived about 6 days later and I am pleased to say is a high quality item that appears to work very well and is strong enough to do its job. Lots of online help is available to demonstrate the install. Programming it is simple, installation was easy enough if you have basic mechanical ability and it works well with either the key, the digital key fob or by inputing a code you set yourself. Good company, good product, glad I got it.

This lock went on a 2025 Grand Design 5th wheel (260RD). This RVLock V4 lock is an exact match fit to the OEM. My factory cutout is 2.75" x 3.75" with a right hand hinge swing. I did not have to make any modification whatsoever and it has a nice seal between the lock and door. Once I registered it I noticed it comes with a Life Time Warranty. Setting up a personal code was straight forward. I should have tested the remotes before doing anything else. I wasn't sure how to link the remotes so I watched video's and accidentally unlinked the remotes but it was easy to re-link them by pushing and releasing the setup button, then pushing and holding the lock button on the remote. The Lock speaks a verbal message that the remote is linked.I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a keyless entry. So convenient and more durable than the OEM. Looks like it will work with a additional purchased Bluetooth device but I haven't pulled the trigger on that, yet.Note: Remember to check your door swing before purchasing.

This lock is a must-have. Installation was a breeze, and now even the kids can easily lock and unlock the door. The keypad and remote make access simple, and we no longer worry about lost keys. Highly recommend for any RV owner
