Honestly, I was nervous to purchase this product. I have always had my hair colored in a salon, and never attempted to do it myself. I switched jobs and took a paycut, so the salon was not an option when some grays started to show. I knew this brand is what my mom uses, and her color always looks nice so I figured why not give it a shot. I LOVE IT!! The instructions were so easy to follow and the color has held very well, not to mention the conditioner that came with it made my hair feel wonderful! I will definitely purchase/use again in the future.

This is the original formula my 96 year old Aunt has been using for years, probably decades, or whenever it was introduced. We were afraid to let her try the new formula because she may have an allergic reaction. Also, the new package has a hard to open tube, as described by other reviews, and doesn’t even come with gloves. She just used it last week and is very pleased! I’m going to order 3 more boxes for her, so she won’t run out of it.

I prefer this particular product versus the other products, because if I want to change, to a red or ligth brown I noticed my scalp and hair gets very dry it does not last as long and I also loose a lot of hair . And with this particular color I get the silky shine hair, the price could be a litle bit lower.
